Exclusive: Frankie Muniz Turns Criminal

Don't tell Lois, but Malcolm has found himself in the middle of a murder investigation!

Reliable sources confirm to me exclusively that ex-Malcolm in the Middle whippersnapper Frankie Muniz has been tapped to appear in a November sweeps episode of Criminal Minds. The now-21(!)-year-old actor plays a famous comic-book artist who becomes involved in the search for a serial killer in Los Angeles.

I seriously hope "becomes involved in the search" isn't code for "becomes a prime suspect." Turning Dawson Leery into a modern-day Norman Bates was one thing, but Malcolm?! That would be a little creepy even for me. And I like creepy.

Muniz' episode is slated to air on Nov. 28.

Is it just me, or does Frankie Muniz look like he has a receding hairline in this picture? Dang, I feel old, and this show hasn't been gone that long... Geez.

here's a wild and crazy thought. wait and see if he's actually bad before you diss him. you might actually discover that the kid can pull it off. lord knows a lot of folks didn't think James could and he surprised.

if it turns out Frankie really did suck, have at him.

Well i hve to say i was around downtown los angeles when frankie muniz and the cast of criminalminds was filming that day it was awsome to hve met frankie muniz he is a kind peson who toke the time to sign a few autographs. I was one of them to get a autograph. But my high lite was when shemar moore and matthew Gray Guble showed up. the women went crazy for them even me. I can say shemar was the best he crossed the street in front of traffic to sign autographs(but he wasnt in danger)it as amazing how he responded to his fans i've lived in downtown los angeles for 7yrs i see and hve met many actors and actress i swear none of them ever did that i was amazed to that. And mattthew also signed a autograhs for me and my son he made conversation w my son which was amazing aswhile. EVEN frankie muniz was kind to his fans he said hi and notced my son too. while just wanted to say tha also those of u who watch ncsi i met Mark Harmon he also was downtown few mths way back but i rememeber cause i was out there for two hrs waiting to get his autograh he finally finshed he was walking and i asked him if he could sign a autogragh he put down wat he was carring to sign a autograh for me and my son. awsome ppl these few are
