Exclusive: 24's Michelle Dessler Rushed to ER!

One of my all-time favorite 24 heroines is being admitted to the ER.

Sources confirm that Reiko Aylesworth — who kicked ass as CTU boss Michelle Dessler (until her inevitable death) — is joining the cast as County General's hot and hip new chaplain who starts a very intimate, ahem, prayer group with John Stamos' Gates. (For those of you who suck at innuendo, "intimate prayer group" is a double entendre for "steamy hospital sex.")

And before you go ratting her out to God, Aylesworth's preacher woman is allowed to lead a normal life, and that includes wearing slutty regular clothes and having sex with dating whomever she wants.

Are you as psyched as I am about Aylesworth's tube return? If so, post your cheers below!

I love it! She's one of my top crushes and I remember when I was so excited to see her on Knights of Prosperity as a sexy cougar! Is she too young to be considered a cougar? Either way, she's incredibly beautiful and I can't wait!

Hurray for more great casting on TV this season! I love Reiko!! She's awesome. My only sadness is that as a preacher lady, she probably won't be kicking much ass. But maybe she will kick Gates' ass into gear.

I'm glad Reiko's finally coming back to tv, but unfortunately (for me) I stopped watching ER years ago. Grrr.

I'm happy that Reiko will be returning to TV because I absolutely loved her on 24. Thanks for the scoop.

I remember back in the early 90's when she was on OLTL as Rebecca

Yeah, I'm stoked about "Michelle's" return to TV, but only if her new character is as kick ass as her one on 24. I will tell you one thing, though, and I don't know about all of you other 24 fans out there, but I am still pissed off about Michelle and Tony being killed off. They were two of the strongest and best characters EVER on that show, and it still just isn't right without them. Bad move, guys. But good luck to the both of them in their careers, and at least we can see them on the 24 DVD box sets

The only thing I don't like is there won't be a Michelle resurrection - but I didn't really expect that. This is good new. I used to watch ER and now I just might watch again!

I second tgcrider1. Er is my new Favourite TV show. 24 hasn't been the some without Michelle. Their loss ER's gain!:)

Aside from Chloe after Michelle left the show the female characters on 24 have been pretty blah. Here's hoping we see Michelle and Abby go head to head. Is there any word if this is a recurring role which could possible extend to a regular role? How many eps is she scheduled for?

Don't watch 24 so I have no idea who this gal is, but if she can get Gates away from Neela that can only be a good thing.

I just may have to start watching ER again. What a great casting decision!

Stopped watching ER a long time ago... but now that Ms. Aylesworth's joining the cast, perhaps I'll give it another shot.

(Still pissed about Michelle and Tony, though.)
