OK, I went all squee at the idea of Lauren Graham in the Office Spinoff. Does anyone else remember her stint as the efficiency expert on NewsRadio?! She'd be GOLD.

I'd rather Lauren Graham NOT star in a spin-off of The Office -- too obvious (if she should have anything to do with The Office, she should play Jan's shrink. BID.)

She hasn't done any action stuff and a certain dramatic action show that DOESN'T take place on a mysterious tropical island needs a female source of humor.

So, yep, I think she should be cast as a new hero on Heroes.

I can see the first scene. Lauren plays a character that I'll call, uh, Smorelai. Peter and somebody on the show barge into her character's home/apartment/office and Peter helps himself to a beer, possibly to calm himself down. He and she instantly don't get along. Her first line of dialogue is . . .

"Stay out of my fridge!"

I don't like The Office. For whatever reason, it never grabbed my attention. If Lauren Graham were on the spin-off, though, I would have to give it a try. In fact, whatever her next project is I will watch. I loved her on Gilmore Girls and miss watching her.

Hey, there were actually quite a few of us who got the Catherine Tate reference last week! That being said, thanks for linking to those brilliant sketches. People here at work are confused as to what I find so hilarious.

I'll take LG in anything that will bring her back to television.
