Who'll Be Dancing with the Stars Next Season? Find Out Now!

Looking for a silver lining in the dark cloud that is the current (and, hopefully, soon to be kaput) writers' strike? Look no further than this week's Ausiello Report vodcast, shot entirely behind the scenes at the Dancing with the Stars tour.
The fact is, were it not for the strike, I probably never would have made the trek out to Long Island to hang with the likes of Mark Ballas, Cheryl Burke and Wayne Newton. But I have to say, I rather enjoyed myself. Ever more startling: I may start watching Dancing.
Not only did I get a free dance lesson from a very playful Karina Smirnoff, but, thanks mostly to the very pointed questions you guys armed me with, I scored some serious intel about Season 6. (One magician + three sports stars + one deaf actress = big scoop!)

Can anyone tell me when the next season begins? I'm assuming after Dance War ends but I'm not sure when that is.

Summary of scoop for the hearing- or technology-impaired (may be wrong/incomplete):
NOTE: I don't watch Dancing with the Stars, so the names mean nothing to me.
MA interviewed several of the professional dancers and Wayne Newton. As to which "stars" would be on the next season (airing starting 3/17), several people mentioned that there were going to be 3 sports stars and 1 person mentioned that Marlee Matlin was going to be on. The pros will know for sure shortly before 2/18, when rehearsals for the new season start.
The Cheetah Girl dancer from last season is filming a new CG movie in India. Her DWTS pro dancer boyfriend misses her.
Wayne Newton invited MA to his Las Vegas-area ranch.
MA learned to mambo.
MA asked the pros who their dream celeb partner would be. The guys mentioned Catherine Zeta-Jones, Angelina Jolie, Madonna and Jessica Alba. One woman pro mentioned George Clooney.

Just wanted to say thanks. I really enjoyed your vodcast with Dwts. Even though you weren't into the whole scene, it looks like you had fun. Loved seeing Cheryl, Jonathan, Karina, Louis, and the rest. Great interview.
p.s. noticed you were from Rahway. I Was born in Rahway. I don't live too far from there now.

I love DWTS, and it was a lot of fun watching you with some of my favorite dancers. And, while I am not a big fan of Karina, seeing you dancing with her was probably my favorite part of that vodcast!

It's not like I am a big Marie fan, I am pretty much ambivalent to her. Seriously though, why must you always be so snarky, bitchy to her? No wonder she turned you down.
