Breaking: ABC Goes All the Way with Samantha Who?

Christina Applegate in Samantha Who? by Bob D'Amico/ABC
In a move that should surprise absolutely no one, sources confirm that ABC has picked up Samantha Who? for a full season. In its first three airings, the Christina Applegate-fronted memory-loss satire has retained a good chunk of its Dancing with the Stars lead-in, easily ranking as the most-watched new comedy of the fall. What's more, it's actually good!

Thank you Mike, for plugging this show over and over. I originally didn't watch it, because it conflicts with Heroes, and my DVR can only take so much, but I love it! I watched last night and caught up online, I won't miss it again. It is an awesome show! I also love that the creator is the writer of such great books as P.S. I Love You and If they could see me now, Cecilia Ahern. She is amazing!

What about Moonlight??

When are we going to hear about a full season pick-up for this amazing show? 4 additional episodes are NOT enough.

Great news! Now I'm just waiting to hear that Dirty Sexy Money and Women's Murder Club (and hopefully ... Life is Wild, although I'm not holding my breath) also have gotten a full season pickup!

Great! Now I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Moonlight to get the same support from CBS.

I'm glad I ended up DVRing this. It's a good show! I'm interested to see how it does without a DWTS lead-in though.

After Pushing Daisies it's my 2nd favorite fall show. The jokes are tight and all the actors have great timing. I'm so thrilled for Christina. Ever since Friends I knew she had a special nack for this stuff beyond her child star performances-I know she's done sitcom stuff but as an intelligent adult it takes another gear entirely. I'm so glad everyone found it too! It's almost hard to believe my favorite shows are making the grade. Remember now, Dirty Sexy Money and Men in Trees need your attention!

This is wonderful news. Christina is so talented and with such a great cast that includes not only her but also Melissa and Jean and Tim, and even Barry, I'm looking forward to discovering who Sam is along with her.

This is good news -- it's an enjoyable show, not hillarious but funny to a point, and I'm glad it will have the chance to stick around. But where in the heck is that pickup for Dirty Sexy Money? Come on ABC, you know you want to.

You guys are too funny with your fake praise for "Moonlight". I mean, you almost sound serious. What's next...October Road for Emmy consideration? HAHAHA
