Ausiello Scoop: Women's Murder Club Casts 4400's Gretsch - Ausiello Report

The 4400's Joel Gretsch has been tapped to play Angie Harmon's new love interest on Women's Murder Club, sources confirm to me exclusively. His character, a charming hotel builder, bumps into Lindsay at the Hall of Justice and, as you might've guessed, it's lust at first sight. As you also might've guessed, he's harboring a humdinger of a secret, the specifics of which I'll get into in this week's Ausiello Report vodcast. Look for that tomorrow at around 10 am/ET.

Gretsch is slated to appear in all three of Murder Club's post-strike episodes.

In the meantime, help this non-4400 zealot out: Is Gretsch a good match for Harmon? Judging by the pics above, I'm inclined to say yesssiiirrreeebob!

Wow! A little something to boost WMC and get a 4400 fix at the same time. I think this may just be a great match, especially considering the dark haired beauty he was in love with on 4400, Karina Lombard!

Joel Gretsch was terrific as Tom Baldwin on The 4400 and I think that he will be a perfect fit on WMC!

No they're not a good match because Joel should be on The 4400 as Tom going out with potential conquest Megan(Jenni Baird).

I'm going to go against the general consensus here and say that I found Joel Gretsch to be a (cute) piece of wood on the 4400 so I hope he is more interesting on Women's Murder Club. Yeah, I said it and I stand by it. Flame away.

They played a married couple in The Glass House: Good Mother. they both did an above average job on a below average script. They are both beautiful people and will do a good job. I am glad to see that the show has some future too.

I wonder if Joe Flanigan will reprise his role as FBI Agent John Ash. It was nice to see Joe on something else other than Stargate: Atlantis, so I hope his character does return.

Yes, what's the status of Joe Flanigan, Michael? Stargate Atlantis fans know that Joe is busy filming season five in Canada...I guess we were hoping that some arrangements could have been made so that Joe could have finished his appearances at FBI Agent John Ash. Morjana

I remember him best from The Emperor's Club as the adult Sedgewick Bell and from Taken. Did you know he's William Shatner's son-in-law? Maybe we'll see Captain Kirk show up on WMC (even as Denny Crane? That would work!)?

Oh, Blittle! I couldn't disagree more. Especially when he turned "bad" - he was so wonderfully wicked.

I am looking forward to seeing the sparks between he and Angie Harmon! What night and time is WMC on again???
