Exclusive: Sex Symbol Makes House Call

Sex and the City stud muffin Jason Lewis has signed on to guest-star in a pivotal post-strike episode of House that will reaffirm Doc Crotchety's obsession with dayime television.

According to my candy-striped Princeton-Plainsboro mole, House suspects that his favorite soap star (Lewis) may unknowingly be sick when he starts exhibiting strange symptoms on the air. Not one to wait around for the mystery ailment to cure itself, House takes matters into his own hands. I've got $100 that says he barges onto the set and causes a scene, prompting Cuddy to channel her inner Linda Blair.

Any takers?

I hope you're joking that House being a closeted soap fan is a "shocking" secret, considering that during the first half of the first season you couldn't pry him from his daily General Hospital fix

It's no secret House is a soap fan. He's always getting caught watching shows in the staff lounge, in a patient's room or on his little portable TV. But it'll be great to see him barge onto an actual soap opera set.

What I'd like to see is BOTH House and Perry Cox (since they're both soap-watchers whilst on duty) burst onto the set at the same time, and they could out-scowl each other to determine who gets the patient.

Yeah, House's soap opera love has been a recurring thing since the pilot (I can think of at least two scenes already this season where it has been mentioned), but this does sound like a fun storyline. Thanks for the weekend scoop!

Apparently I'm in a shallow mood, because my only thought to this, is that I really miss the long hair! Oh, I guess I could add that I'm looking forward to the movie only if what "they've" been saying is a pack of lies. If Big really does stand Carrie up at the alter, I really don't think I want to see it. I prefer the hopefulness of the last season's ending. That's why I watched the show. There was always hope. I prefer my escapism with a side of happy! Hmm, guess I had more then one thought about this!

kikayqt, I think you're absolutely right. Remember all the skeptics at the beginning of the season, who said breaking up "the team" would be a disaster. Not only was it NOT a disaster, it gave the show a shot in the arm it needed! Even some of my friends who LOVE the show had started saying it was falling into a predictable formula. This season has really given me a lot of confidence in this show's creative team.
