Exclusive: Rachael Leigh Cook Latest Psych Major

I've seen Shawn Spencer's future, and it looks crowded. Not only is James Roday's faux soothsayer getting a visit from his shrinky-dink mama on Psych this season, but one of his exes is coming out of the woodwork, too.

Sources confirm to me exclusively that ex-Pussycat Rachael Leigh Cook has signed on to play a high school crush of Shawn's in at least one episode. The two reconnect at their 13-year class reunion and, well, even a pretend seer can predict what happens next.

Cook's scheduled to appear in the second episode of the upcoming third season, which kicks off on July 18 (aka not soon enough)!

Psych too, Di? This is getting scary! But in a good way. :)

I wonder if her showing up will cause Maggie to get jealous? I've been hankering for them to get together since the end of season 2!

I love this show. Can't wait for it to return this summer. I can only imagine what Shawn's high school reunion would be like. :)

I know what you mean! I love Gus and Sean! Especially when they argue.

In that one episode where it was revealed that Gus was married:

Gus(to Sean):"I'm weak. Don't judge me, Sean." Then he walks away. LOL.

I love psych so much I don't care who guest stars on there. Those guys are so funny!!!!!! I don't know where they got Gus and Shawn but those guys are so good together. I can't stop laughing. Can't wait til they return.

I don't know where they got James, but Dulee Hill, who plays Gus, used to be on The West Wing. He played one of the aides to the President and was dating his younger daughter, I think.

He was so serious! Who'da thunk he could do comedy?

July is toooooo far away!!!! Why can't they premiere it, like...NOW????:_|:_|

Oddly enough, She's All That is on TV right now and I'm watching it for the first time. I was surprised to find out that Dule Hill is in this movie with Rachel Leigh Cook.

If there's a scene where they play volleyball together, I'll know what they're referencing.

Actually Rachael Leigh Cook was in the new Nancy Drew Movie!! But i can't wait for the new season of PSYCH!! it's too funny!!

Anyone Shawn is ever interested in (besides O'Hara) is either the killer, or has a close relationship to the killer. Which will her character be?
