Exclusive: Jorja Fox Returning to CSI!

CSI boss Carol Mendelsohn wasn't pulling my leg when she told me last October that we haven't seen the last of Sara Sidle. Sources confirm that Jorja Fox has inked a deal to return for the show's ninth-season premiere next fall.

Specifics of her comeback are being kept under lock and key, but my CSI mole assures me that she "won't be appearing in a flashback." The likely scenario has Sara returning to Vegas to shag Grissom mourn ex-colleague Warrick, who was shot (and presumably) killed in last week's finale. I say "presumably" because in the current issue of TV Guide, Mendelsohn says Gary Dourdan will be back in the fall — and "not just in flashbacks."

I've got three words for you: Gut-wrenching death scene.

Gut wrenching?

I hope you're commenting on how bleeding obvious it was.
How could you not see it coming? How lazy was the writers and the director make such crap that's was cliché before it was done the first time!

Too bad she wasn't given the Warick Brown exit, then we wouldn't have to put up with "her whininess"

Ship her off to CSI Miami and let Horatio "what a joke" Caine deal with her. They'd make a great parlay.

whew! you can always count on brutal honesty in the comment section... Well, I for one am happy she'll return. I've always enjoyed Jorja Fox performance as Sara. I am also terribly sad about Gary Dourdan leaving. That's pretty heart wrenching stuff... It was a tough finale to get through and damn shocking as far as I was concerned.

YES! I am so happy to hear this.. I love CSI but it is just empty without Jorja. She will make me tune in and I hope she will make regular guest appearences from now on. The show and her fans need her.

As much as I didn't like Sara most of the time, the show is missing something with her not there.

I was SHOCKED on how they ended this years season and I am looking forward to the fall so I can see how they finish it.

I am thrilled that Jorja is returning; I hope that it's for more than just one episode. She is the best thing about this show. Grissom needs Sara, and so does this fan. Yeah!

NO!!!! Hopefully it won't be for more than 1 episode. I like it better now that she is gone.

I guess I'm in the minority on this one, but I thought Jorja Fox's scenes were the best part of the show. I haven't watched it since she left.

I agree: I didn't miss Jorja (Sara) this season. And it was too obvious the last few minutes of the season finale with Warrick.

I may be in the minority, but I am GLAD that Jorga Fox is coming back for the premiere. If Warwick dies, she should be there for a furneral. They are the originals of that show!! I for one HATED that when Anthony Edwards character of Mark Greene died on ER, George Clooney and Juliana Margulies didn't come back for his funeral...He was their twins godfather afterall!!! (I know it would have been expensive for them to get George, but hay, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to make it right!!) I have been a fan of Jorga's for a long time now and will continue to be. I hope she moves on to something that she finds fulfilling real soon, and I look forward to seeing her again on CSI even if its for one sad epsiode next season!! I am still mad that Gary left too!!!!

Yay, I'm glad Jorja is coming back. I want her to stay for the entire season, not just the season premiere. CSI just isn't the same without her.
