House's Chase Problem Solved! Plus: Private Practice Scoop!
Yes, I'm fully aware that this week's Ausiello Report vodcast went up a little later than usual today. Sorry 'bout that. But after watching it, I think you'll agree it was well worth the wait. Not only am I sporting a seriously fierce 'do, but I'm joined by three very special guests: House's Jesse Spencer, Private Practice's David Sutcliffe and BSG's Katee Sackhoff. Even better, they're spilling some serious scoop about what's ahead for their respective characters. But, let's face it, it's all about the hair. See for yourself.

Recap: Sexiest Stars Party
Hair looks like bedhead, but cute.
Comcast Shoutout.
Quick clips of red carpet interviews with no substance.
PRIVATE PRACTICE - David Sutcliffe back on for 11 episodes as Addison's love interest. Could go longer.
HOUSE - Jesse Spencer (looking tore up, but still hot) expecting more time with Jennifer in S5. 24 Episodes, already started filming. Talked about his brother being a surgeon, doesn't expect being "back in the team".
BSG - Piano playing new guy for Starbuck in the near future. He wasn't supposed to know, she was shocked. Joked about stealing a ship after the show closes.

So…your serious House scoop…is Chase and Cameron might get more screen time…or they might not. Good catch their Ausiello. Don’t know what we’d do without you.

Sorry, but if any teaser was deserving of a hard time it was this one.

I loved the interview with Jesse Spencer.. he looks so cute with all that hair. It would have been even better if it did not look like the camera was being held by a 7 year old. What was up with that??

Alright Ausiello, you spoke to Scott Michael Foster. Did he spill any Greek secrets? COME ON.

Jesse Spenser does realize he is not an actual surgeon and only plays one on TV doesn't he? Kinda scares me that he doesn't want to get folded back in the House team because he enjoys performing surgeries so much.
I guess if he enjoys his two minutes of screen time each week since he was fired from House's team because he gets to pretend to be a surgeon, more power to him.

David Sutcliffe's going to be on Private Practice for at least 11 episodes next season.
Dear Shonda,
Here's some storyline pitfalls to avoid when writing for Mr. Sutcliffe (who I'll call Mr. Fireman since I don't remember his character name yet) :
* Mr. Fireman cannot buy anyone an Oxford English Dictionary/doorstop.
* Mr. Fireman cannot come anywhere close to a bottle of tequila.
* Mr. Fireman cannot listen to a single word that a post-menopausal Daughter of the American Revolution says.
* Addison and Mr. Fireman taking a spontaneous trip to Paris and getting married overnight even though you have to have lived there for 30 days to be granted a real, legally-binding marriage license. Otherwise, you don't even need to file annullment papers, since you weren't married in the first place.
* Mr. Fireman cannot marry anyone with the last name of Gilmore, even if Addison changes her last name to Gilmore.
Hope that helps! Rob

Thank you for the Jesse Spencer interview. I'd rather a better reassurance that he'll get more screentime next year though...

ShutUpRob: give it up, Gilmore Girls is over. I hate to break it to you, but David Sutcliffe is neither Christopher Hayden in every role that he does, nor is he the devil that so many GG fans make him out to be.

Mr. Sutcliffe was certainly looking a little rough..is he hanging out with David Schwimmer all of a sudden? Thought I HATED David's character on GG [hello, look at the username] I'm pretty siked to see where is character goes on PP. Oh, and ShutUpRob, you made some good points, forwarding that list to Shondra probably wouldn't be a bad idea.. And jcpdiesel21- Though you may disagree, I'm pretty sure that if you looked up the term "Devil" in the dictionary you would indeed find the name "Christopher Hayden".

David Sutcliffe is a mediocre actor. I don't care neither about him nor about his character. Anyway, it doesn't matter, since he is just a temporary "love-interest" for Addison and probably will be gone forever after those 11 episodes.

Gee! possibly more screentime for the little blond flat-faced right-wing Australian. I really hope JS, JM, and OE end up on the House spin-off. I think they just take up space on House MD.

Jesse Spencer needs some serious grooming. Everytime I see him his hair looks awful! Last time he was on House I kept thinking how greasy and gross he looked. Please groom this man!
Also - they don't need to introduce a new character to do a House spin-off. They have 3 good (old) characters just wasting screen time. Give the old team their own show...problem solved.
P.S. Is it just me or does Hugh look much older in the post-strike episodes? He is looking grey and rumpled...:o(

Thanks Mike.
Freaking bring back Chase already. The old team kicks the newbies asses. I don't mind Kutner but really he's a poor man's Chase. And he'll always just be Kumar.
I would hope that Chase & co get more screentime (their chemistry is shockingly wasted) but if not, I'm placated somewhat if they appear on the spin-off. If Chase appears on neither - Shore, Jacobs and co should watch their backs!
