AR Ep 40: House's Super Bowl Shocker! Plus: Lost Spoiler!

Need another reason to detest this writers' strike? Well, you'll find one in this week's Ausiello Report vodcast, which just went live on a tvguide.com video player near you. (You can also access it via this ridiculously convenient link.) Suffice it to say it concerns House's much-hyped Super Bowl episode — and it's a bummer.

Also featured in the landmark — well, landmark for me, at least — 40th AR: New details about what prompted Grey's Anatomy to temporarily dump Meredith as narrator; a Lost spoiler that contains both audio and video clues; and a spirited shout-out to my esteemed alma mater, which, in case you didn't hear, kicked some serious Bruin booty this weekend.

Fight On!

Here's a recap!

House's superbowl episode gets sacked, and Grey's gets a new narrator! Welcome to the Ausiello Report.

The strike is affecting House's superbowl episode. The plan was to have a two-part episode immediately following the Superbowl and continuing the week after, but now that plan has been scrapped. Instead, a REGULAR episode of House that was supposed to air normally in January will air after the Superbowl. The episode guest stars Oscar Winner Mira Sorvino.

USC is in the Rose Bowl, no one cares.

Bailey is narrating an episode of Grey's early next year in which Bailey is in "the throes of a personal crisis." Tragedy comes to someone she loves. (This person may or may not be Ausiello. ...It's not Ausiello.)

Ask Ausiello! Will he start watching October Road now that Kirk is on it? No. Any Lost scoop? Yes- surprising alliances will be formed, and one of them involves BEN!

That's it for this edition.

Why is everyone making such a big deal about a week where Meredith isn't the narrator? I know it's rare, but didn't they already do this last season? Didn't Cristina already narrate one, or did I just dream that? I thought it was around the proposal time, or something big like that.

I saw Sean Gunn's fauxhawk for OR at www.gilmoregirlsnews.com . Had been planning on trying the show out 'til I saw that picture. Not no more!

Thanksgiving is over, but this turkey lives -- and has no business raising a Rooster, yet. Yikes!

I hated the two-part emo4man episode and I definitely would have hated any episode featuring Cameron. So thank God it got scrapped :)

Too bad that the House Superbowl episode won't be one that advances House's relationship with one of his female co-workers, but hopefully the writers strike will end soon and we can get this story sometime this season. And I'm hoping his shag-buddy is Cuddy!
