AR Ep 14: Veronica Mars FBI Scoop!
Finally, some good news for Veronica Mars fans.
The highly-touted "Veronica in the FBI" trailer that Rob Thomas assembled for CW execs will see the light of day. All the exclusive deets are in this week's new Ausiello Report vodcast, which is currently playing at Ausiello Central. (BTW, the pre-roll ads that have been the source of so many of our technical issues have once again been removed. As a result, your AR viewing experience should be glitch free.)
Also in this week's show: TV's coolest couple, Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton, stop by to dish Emmy, and scoop on a certain Desperate Housewives character whose fate was left, um, hanging in the finale.

Not much scoop this week that wasn't already in Ausiello Report or Ask Ausiello. Here's a summary (it's from memory so it may be wrong/incomplete):
Dream Emmy Ballot is out. Friday Night Lights got 5 nominations, the most of any show. I couldn't hear the Kyle Chandler/Connie Britton interview because of the fire sirens in the background but it sounded like they would not be surprised if they weren't nominated, but stranger things have happened.
Veronica Mars in the FBI trailer will be included in the Season 3 DVDs. Rob Thomas is toying with a VM feature film.
MA doesn't think Edie is dead on Desperate Housewives. He also gave a shameless plug to vote for him as sexiest vegetarian in some contest.

I can't watch this vodcast. It keeps 'pausing' at the chick blowing the dandelion and not resuming. Stupid technology. Can someone just TELL me when/where we get to see the trailer?

Good news- loved the vodcast!

I so appreciate recaps and transcripts, thanks! I've been trying to figure out for weeks why my laptop won't load the TV Guide video viewer, so I've been unable to see any of AR's vodcasts. As far as I can see, I've got all the right software tools (and a fast connection), but my system won't even see the video on the main TV Guide page ... ah well. Again, thanks always for recaps and transcripts - life is simply not complete without my Ausiello fix!

Yay! As of 4:30 PM CST, TV Guide has finally fixed the Vodcast! I was able to watch it at work today with no problems. (A feat I was previously unable to do because of the firewall.) I feel I can comfortably say, if it doesn't work on your computer, don't blame TV Guide! It's definitely your computer because my employer doesn't allow anything to work on my computer! Well, hardly anything....
