Top 5 Rankings: Mario Looking Not So Super
TVGuide.com's latest Dancing with the Stars Power Rankings, determined by the vote of readers, finds Kristi and Mark of course playing queen and king of the hill, with virtually no one in a position to knock them off. With Shannon and Derek gone, Cristian and Cheryl have claimed the No. 2 spot with 14.5 percent of the vote — but can Cristian's compromised arm weather this week's tango?
Further down the rankings, Marissa and Tony again dodged cellar-dweller status, with Mario and Karina bottoming the list. Can Mario, an early fave of the judges, reverse his momentum?

All the dancers did a good job last night but I thought the judges were WAY too hard on Kristi's samba and Mario's jive! And yes, Cheryl's choreography was good but I thought Cristian's injury affected his performance more than the judges did. He looked stiff and pained - as I'm sure he was! In my opinion, he should have been in 2nd or 3rd place at the end of the night, not in first. Actually, I think he should bow out gracefully now and not risk further injury.

Now that Mario has been eliminated on Tuesday evening, what are the chances still for Mark and Kristi to wn? Kelly Monaco said she would like to see a woman win and would like to see Kristi win. Appolo wasn't quite as clear because he said both athletes: Kristi and Jason.
Drew Lachey said Cristian because he's dancing with Cheryl and she has won twice. Then there's Jason Taylor who is still in the game despite his last dance and what Len said about that last dance not being goood enough to be in the semi-finals. It's nice to see Marissa come back from the beginning of the show.
Do you think it's going to be Kristi, Cristian and Jason in the finals? And will Kristi still win out - it seems Cristian is picking up some steam since his injurand Cheryl knows what it takes to win. I thought they did well last night, but I didn't think his latin dance was worth those 2 10s and Mark has never made it this far before, but I feel like he is still a fighter and Kristi has a lot of determination.
Are the tv guide fans still thinking that Mark and Kristi should win? I am hoping that Mark and Kristi win but I know much of it depends on the fan votes. I pray that their fan votes (Team Sabrina, Team Yamaguchi and Team Mark, etc.) have a humongous fan base.
What do you think - are most of the fans still with Mark and Kristi?

slugger29, yes I am still for Kristi and Mark 100%. The judges seem to be a little unfair again on Monday night. The judges are overlooking things with certain contestants and overly critical on another.
I think Apolo favored Kristi when he acknowledged that Olympians stick together.
Hope for the best for Kristi and Mark.

I think the show is far too "politically
correct." The performers should be judged on their talent not whether they are female, black, white, chinese, etc.
Personally, in my humble opinion, I feel
that Marissa's performance was not near as good as Mario's and Jason's. I stopped watching the show for a while when Stacy was cheated out of her win. It was obvious that the scoring is not
reflective of talent but is more likely
to be political.

Well, I for my self I think that Mario could stay in, but Marissa she is good but not like Kristi.But Christian oh my God he did a excellent job finally Cherly did a good and fine choreography, I can believe that tango!!!. but so far yes the competition is going well despite being Mario out, because I really though that he would be in the final four him (Mario), Jason, Kristi, and Christian they are the best so far and the most improved dancers. I really support Christian for been such a gentleman I think if cherly keep him like that they will be in the last three or two or even more win why not he prove that he can do that and bisade, he is showing that we Latinos have the rhythm and the music in side of us, I love Christian for that make us proud my man!!you can do it even with the negative and mediocre opinion that many of you post in here and in the abc.com dancing with the stars blog's. all of the competitiors that are in the show are good!!!!

I think Karina's sour faces when she was in the bottom 2 and then was voted out shows she is a sore loser and she did not show her professionalism. I also think that Mario got a bad rap, especially from judge Len. Mario dances better than Marissa and she is still there. Also, I do like Christan but his partner Cheryl sickens me whenever they are staying for another week she turns around and throws her arms around him (like she did to all her partners) she should be a little humble (Like Kristi)and respect the fact that his wife or girlfriend is in the audience and she is standing there half naked.
