Women's Murder Club

rf-womens-murder-club.jpg
Returns: Tuesday, April 29, at 10 pm/ET (ABC)

Number of new episodes: 3

Where we left off: The Kiss-Me-Not killer set his sights on Det. Lindsay Boxer (Angie Harmon), who got protection from a hunky FBI profiler (Stargate Atlantis' Joe Flanigan), while ADA Jill Bernhardt (Laura Harris) was ditched by her boyfriend for cheating.

What's next: In an effort to save the faltering series, the network brought in veteran producer Robert Nathan (Law & Order) to do some tweaking. "The crime stories will be more serious and relevant," Nathan vows, "so all four women will be emotionally challenged." A figure from Lindsay's past will pop up to reveal why the detective is so obsessed with her work.

Love is murder: Enter a hot new beau (Joel Gretsch) for Lindsay. "We want to see her fall in love and be happy," Nathan says. Plus, Jill will choose a shocking bedmate.

"Jill will choose a shocking bedmate."

Who? Denise? Let's hope it's a woman at any rate.

It would have been great if instead of the stupid reruns of Grey's Anatomy (Yuk) or Men in Trees (Yuk again) ABC reran the show in entirety with the 3 new episodes. But I guess that would make too much sense. I missed the wedding episode and would have liked to seen it. ABC should keep this series instead of trying to steal NBC's Scrubs and CBS's Christine! RUN THE SERIES IN ITS UNBROKEN ENTIRETY ABC!

I am really disappointed in ABC. They did a good job promoting it, but then kind of dropped promoting it much after the strike. Instead of trying to copycat the show with other shows about women as friends.....they should really work on promoting this show again. I don't feel ABC really gave this show a chance. With all the Patterson Women's Murder Club book fans there is no reason why this show should not be a hit!

Exactly! This show should be a hit. I think you could look at ABC's scheduling move either negatively or positively. I would have preferred a recap show, a replay of episodes referencing the Kiss Me Not Killer OR a marathon on ABC or ABC Family Channel. Still, Women's Murder Club is now on a high profile night for television. Fans of WMC should pay attention AND learn from what happened with CBS' show Jericho. Yes, they saved the show from cancellation but the fans didn't expand the audience of the show so no ratings boost. The show was in the exact same position as it was when it was originally cancelled. TELL YOUR FAMILY, FRIENDS, CO-WORKERS, ANYONE who read the Patterson books to watch this show!! It is a fantastic show on so many different levels and it deserves
