Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today for the wedding of Gossip Girl's (8 pm/ET, the CW) Lily van der Woodsen (Kelly Rutherford) and Bart Bass (Robert John Burke). And if you've been following this addictive Upper East Side story, you know the nups will be as OMG-inducing as the rest of the teen drama's freshman season.
"The wedding does happen," assures exec producer Stephanie Savage. "Just not without complications." Or glamour: The bride is wearing Vera Wang, the cake is from New York's baker extraordinaire Sylvia Weinstock and real-life socialite Lydia Hearst is on the episode's guest list.
But what of our favorite tortured teens? "It's a very emotional episode," Savage says. "There are makeups and breakups for the major couples." XOXOh-no!
