Get ready for Mystery Spot!
Hey there guys - just wanted to get everybody geared up for tomorrow night's episode of Supernatural.
Thanks to the CW - I was given an advance look at the episode and I have to tell you guys it's good. I'm not going to give any spoilers or hints because I want everyone to enjoy the experience. But, as you know from last week's preview, it's the show's twist on the movie Groundhog Day.
What I will say is that it's good, angst-filled, there are many funny elements to it, at times it's surprising and has the potential to be a great source of debate and/or analysis.
Just want to get the word out there about the episode and hopefully you guys will tell everybody you can to tune into it as well.
In other news: Yay to the strike being over. If you want to read some info about it tvguide.com has the news. You'll also find links to show status and more. Looks like we'll definitely be getting new episodes of Supernatural this season.
Also Ask Ausiello has a little Supernatural news in today's edition (no spoilers). There's a little blurb in his Ausiello Report from Monday.
Whew - lots of business. Remember to spread the word about tomorrow's Supernatural. And I'll meet you guys back here on Thursday night/Friday morning for what I know will be some in depth analysis. And once again, let's all celebrate the end of the writers' strike!

You're making us jealous, Tina!
Why isn't it Thursday yet? I've been obsessively repeating that teaser clip! But tell me one thing: please, in addition to the funny, it brings the angst?

Mary, it definitely brings the angst. Lots and lots of it. That's all I'll say.
Oh and Mary, thanks for asking the question. I ended up adding angst-filled to my original post because it so needs to be in there.

Bittersweet feelings about this episode, as I'm really looking forward to seeing it but it then means only one more new episode until at least April/May. Hopefully this link will work to show an interview with Jensen Ackles telecast this morning in Australia.

Found another one also so hope it works. http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=DiJ97T2Mnp8

Hey All... Getting set for tomorrow's EK favorite ep so was rewatching the last three shows. How great are they? Always amazed that even after several times I still catch things I missed. Did you notice on AVSNC that Sam's motel tree was decorated with car Christmas tree air fresheners? What a hoot! Also think there's a tech error...but it's such a big one I must be reading it incorrectly. When the boys are having their Christmas celebration Dean correctly has both arms wrapped in gauze. But Sam has the wrong arm wrapped. When he was tied to the chair they sliced his right arm but when he's watching the game it's his left arm that's wrapped. Help...it's making me crazy to think something so obvious would be overlooked. Has this been covered before on a previous blog?
Also think Dean has never looked more gorgeous than the shot where he's whistfully drinking his last Christmas in. I think someone referred to it as looking almost angelic. That's our Michael!!

Happy Supernatural Thursday, everyone! I am BEYOND excited about tonight's episode. Somehow I have the feeling that we all think we know what we're going to get, but Kripke has more up his sleeeve. Maybe I'm wrong, but it just feels that way to me. After the last 3 episodes, I am hard-pressed to pick a favorite, but yeah, chuckie, that Christmas episode, and that last scene especially, touched my heart in such a way...unforgettable.
Still, the dark and the angst and the emotion OWN ME and we are going to get that tonight. This season has picked up tremendously for me in the last 4 eps and I thank whatever gods/goddessses there may be that we are getting more new ones this season-WOO HOO!!!
Enjoy, friends!

Happy SUPERNATURAL Valentine's Day, everyone! TV Guide is now showing tonight's episode as "new," so no more DVR/TiVo worries. I'm sure Tina was responsible for the fix so, THANK YOU!

Ok. This is the only chance I'll have to get online for a while, and I just saw tonight's episode. I know this is a bit premature since Tina hasn't posted her blog yet (which her recaps are awesome, btw!), but I'm about to explode! Sorry, but I have GOT to get this out.
First off, did anybody find Dean's gargling totally sexy??? Dang... I am WAY too obsessed with this show... lol.
Secondly, Sam minus Dean equals completely scary Sam. This episode gives us a glimpse of what Sam will be like when Dean dies (which I hope to God doesn't actually happen because there aren't enough xanax in the world for that). Sam was so single-minded in the pursuit to save his brother! Just one question: where has that zeal been? I mean, Dean was already going to die before that darn trickster got involved (and on a side note, might the trickster be a way to save Dean from "the pit"??? Just a little spec for you...). But why hasn't Sam been turning over every stone to save his brother before now??
Sorry if my posting this comment before Tina posts her blog offends anyone. I just never get to comment on anything on here because by the time I can get on, all my opinions have already been stated.
