Onstage: Wrapping It Up: The Night's Biggest Honors

9:49: Ah, Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson, a couple I didn't ever want to see again, on or off screen. Apparently there's a movie studio that disagrees with me on that one.

9:51: Daniel Day-Lewis wins for Best Actor in a Leading Role. And he looks about 150 years younger than his character in There Will Be Blood. That's how good he is. His waiter tuxedo, not so much.

9:53: Lewis dedicates his award to Heath Ledger.

9:55: Forest Whitaker says "chanteuse." It's like Rolling Stone writers are penning this stuff. Man, I should have made this a drinking game.

9:56: Julie Christie takes it home for Female Actor in a Leading Role. Angelina's still got Brad. Blanchett makes revenge plans.

9:58: Christie reminds us that labor unions are awesome. I'm actually surprised that the level of union glorification tonight has been so low.

10:00: Tom Cruise is holding the envelope for Best Ensemble in a Motion Picture. Obviously the cats over at Best Week Ever who've been mocking him all month haven't hampered his drive.

10:01: No Country for Old Men wins. Honestly, I don't think anyone deserved it more.

10:02: Josh Brolin accepts the award for the cast and slips "cornucopia" into his speech. There's my cue to take a drink. Of Dr. Pepper.

10:02:30: Brolin: "Especially this year... the studio system is backfiring... and it's exciting for us actors." Scandal!

10:03: "The Coen brothers are freaky little people." Brolin is my beacon of, erm, smartitude.

10:04: Show's over, kids. Hope you enjoyed watching as much as I did ogling. — Sandra Kofler

Am I the only one who doesn't get the appeal of Matthew McConaughey?

Yes you are the only one that doesn't get the appeal of Matthew McConaughey!!! He is the sexiest man alive forever in my opinion! And I personally watched the SAG awards just to see him and Kate Hudson. I love them both and obviously millions of others do too!
