PCD Recap
Friends, I'm sorry to say but I cannot continue this blog through the end of the season.
There's no conspiracy, it's not that I don't like the CW or anything like that. Unfortunately, now that the CW has moved the show to Wednesday night, I have a prior commitment that I cannot break so I cannot recap the show.
I hope you all enjoy the rest of the season.

Sorry you can't continue the blog. I'll still post my comments.
After watching the show last night, I was struck by several things.
First, Natalie really catches your eye in group events. She has a great "look" and real stage presence. During the video shoot, she stood out the most to me. I think that she would be a solid part of the group, even though her off-camera personality is questionable. But, maybe that was just the producers editing the show, emphasizing the bad stuff.
Secondly, I think Christina should go home. She's always whining and lacks confidence. Charlie performed well and deserved immunity. Instead of whining about Charlie's performance, Christina should focus on her own.
Lastly, I was extremely confused by the "bath" stuff. What grown woman takes a bath with another grown woman? Did both girls do that knowing that they would get camera time? Or did the producers choreograph the entire drama (requiring a "relaxing" bath) in a pathetic attempt to boost ratings? I think the later might be right.
Dear Producers: The dancing is fantastic. You don't need to stoop to that level to get viewers. I tune in for the performances, NOT the drama or baths. So, knock it off! Allow this talented girls some dignity, OK?

If you just put an open post... then others can give our recaps and comments.
I liked the video and I thought the drama and bath tub scene were interesting. Some people always tend to take more breaks, occasionally, or do so at different times.
I think Nichole (a younger, sexier Mandy Moore) looks like the one who will certainly make the group. She seems to get along with everyone, sings well (not a diva), dances well, and the camera loves her.
I have been wondering for a while how they would take the 2 blondes and determine which of them would be in the band. Carrie has an awesome voice and had won several individual challenges. However, she was a little older (25, gasp!) and was not quite the dancer (although still very good despite being a tiny bit thicker than the preferred size 0-2). They finally called her out on it. She would not be a great pop girl band. She really should just be a lead singer of a rock band, which suits her talents and history. Actually, she seemed very comfortable and mature about it and it was the first time I remember seeing Robin cry.
Tiffanie seems like the strongest remaining vocalist and is much more mature even when she does not get along with Christina.
I expect that Natalie will end up being the other final member. She has other things going for her that no others have (like not blonde and not African-American). She does look great and dances well and her voice is OK. She is a drama queen, however, although not as bad as Christina (who needs to go soon).
I have noticed that this is the second or third time Christina (can we say, "spoiled princess?") has had trouble during rehearsals. She especially has trouble with lyrics in such a short time. However, she does seem to be fierce during the competition and may have been my favorite from her group during the actual performance this week. I really loved her reaction to the advice: "Oh. I could use all my energy in a positive manner and make my performance REALLY sexy and fierce." Following that advice really seemed to give her a better performance (and upset her "safe" team mate... can we say, rhymes with "witch"?).

TV_Pete - sure, I can absolutely open the string for you guys. That's no problem.
So Carrie went home, huh? I have to admit I'm a bit shocked at that. Personally, I think she was the most talent and consistent one there.

I'm bummed that there's not going to be a recap anymore. A prior commitment? Umm, shouldn't you have a TiVo or something in your line of work? That should qualify as a work-related tax deduction. Not trying to be an a**hole about this, just bummed.
Anywho, although carrie was insanely talented, i think it's been clear in the last two eps that she wouldn't really blend well with the group, especially with Nichole doing such a good job. there is no way they were going to have two blondes for the final group of three.
So, we know Nichole is in. I think Natalie is in too, unless she shoots herself in the foot by being all, "I can't be in a group with those 2" meaning Tiffanie and Charlye.
Chystina should go home next b/c she is annoying and not as talented as either charlye or tiffanie. I think Charlye will get it b/c i think Tiffanie suffers from the same problem as Carrie, namely she would be better as a solo artist and not in this group.
So, there it is - Nichole, Natalie, Charlye
Watch me be totally wrong
