Episode Recap: Sexiness
This week was the sexy week, which just like last season meant we got an episode with a ton of dry humping. Whoo Hooo! Nothing like 60 minutes of sweaty bodies grinding up against each other (and Jenna lying on the floor).
The sexy episode always brings out the completely ridiculous. We got Tiffanie yelling at other girls that they don’t need to be whores to be sexy. We got Ilisa looking completely unsexy trying to be something she isn’t. And of course we got the winners of the sexy competition getting Hello Kitty necklaces.
The whole fight back in the house was completely uninteresting. Was it just me or did you get lost somewhere in the middle too? I wasn’t really sure who was on whose side and at one point it didn’t seem like anyone was speaking with actual words, just gestures.
As far as the main performances went, I disagreed with the judges this week. I thought Natalie was really good this week and I liked Jamie’s vocals as well. Carrie has definitely become my favorite though. Every week she brings excitement to the stage.
It wasn’t surprising at all that Ilisa went home, especially this week as they were stressing sexy. Without make-up on the girl wasn’t good looking at all. I know that sounds completely like I’m just being a pig, but jeez – half this show is about looking good. Jenna is another one that just isn’t very attractive until she paints herself, though she’s got a bootie that will get her by in a pinch. It doesn’t really make any sense why Jamie went home though when Jenna almost quit earlier in the day. But I guess that’s why I’m not a judge.

poor Ilise, i was rooting for her to go all the way simply because she is different and when she stepped out on stage to perform she was a 10!! i thought she was much sexier when she was practicing, her outfit and wedge heels didn't do her any justice during the performance
i totally agree Carrie is my new fav now that Ilise is gone...she has a great voice and a great way about herself...awesome!!!
jenna disappointed me this week too with her give up attitude and i would have been torn between jenna and jaimie cause jaimie totally lost the bubble last week due to a hair color...drama queen!!!
i agreed that natalie was just wrong this week...her voice is very childish and i wonder how that would work in a group, she doesn't seem to have a powerful enough voice to keep up with the "divas" that are left, she is also another who looks like pooh without being painted up (imho)
next weeks preview, i can't wait..omg, natalie getting the smack down for her diva behaviour..i giggled with delight, i knew there was something about her i didn't like, and now i think its because she's too confident...looks will only get you so far honey, your voice is not all that..i hope robin looks at this as what she'll be like if she ever did make the group..."you disrespect me and haven't made 5 dollar"..it makes me life just thinking back to it!! heres to next week!!!

While my wife's favorite is Natalie, my favorite (and her 2nd favorite) of the girls is easily Nichole. However, she has a few things going against her:
Nichole is too much like Nicole (Scherzinger). That might confuse some people (like Robin Antin).
Nichole sometimes looks a LOT like Mandy Moore. Take a look at her. Obviously, she is a little more sexy (less innocent looking) and nowhere near as tall at a glimpse, but her smile is really similar at times.
Nichole is white and blonde. Why would this be a problem? The best singer and one of the best performers is Carrie who is also blonde. A band like this is supposed to have 1 blonde, 1 brunette/redhead, and 1 girl with darker complexion. My guess is that the brunette will be Natalie (assuming her voice is good and her attitude is not too diva), the darker girl will be Tiffanie and the blonde will be Carrie.
Personally, I think Nichole is the prettiest of the group, sings well and dances well. I would have preferred to see more of Jamie and they should have let Jenna go (she will not last more than a week or two anyways). Maybe they just want the drama to continue. However, both my wife and I thought that Natalie's performance was pretty bad.
