First things first: A.C. Slater's got a nice ass! Did I ever think I'd type that anywhere? I suppose that's what you get when you spend most of your time Dancing with the Stars and being Bold & Beautiful. I think you'll all agree that Mario Lopez has aged quite well. Whether I buy him as a plastic surgeon is a different story. I did like that Mario's character, Dr. Mike, told Christian how he's able to look so good (besides working out every day): "I don't eat." And more dialogue I found extremely true: "I'm 33. Basic metabolic rates slow down every decade after 30." Tell me about it. I am always a Debbie Downer when my friends turn that age and I say to them "Happy 30th... get ready for back fat!" Cue Debbie Downer noise. "Thanks, Debbie." The first shot of Mario exercising at the gym was reminiscent of his Greg Louganis TV-movie. You knew that as soon as Sean told Christian he didn't want to perform the liposuction Christian wanted, he'd seek help elsewhere. Then, lo and behold, Christian was Saved by the Bell -- Dr. Mike to the rescue with some "lunchtime lipo."
Sean (Dylan Walsh), on the other hand, was a dirty bird, bangin' the prospective babysitter/night nurse Monica (played by Lisa Whelchel look-alike Jennifer Hall). This kind of surprised me, but what didn't shock me was that Christian figured it out when he saw the look on Sean's face: "You porked her!" The best look was on Nurse Linda's face -- she gave Sean a total "You sicko!" expression. While we're on the subject of Nurse Linda, how about this for current TV trivia? Linda Klein plays Nurse Linda on both Nip/Tuck and Grey's Anatomy, and she is a real-life nurse. Fellow Watercooler (oops, I mean "TV Show Commentary") writer Maya Schechter told me this after she interviewed the Nip/Tuck cast last week. Linda only has a few lines each week, but it's cool that she's being featured more. Now, Maya, I encourage you to share your experience here, especially your one-on-one with Julian!
Nice plug for YouTube -- I liked that it was Liz and Linda who were ogling the footage of Christian having sex with his slut du jour. An ironically effective way to get Christian to realize he needs to hit the gym/get some lipo -- he got to see what we get to see each week: Julian McMahon's naked butt. "Plastic surgeons can't be fat." However, Liz calling Christian "chubby" is about as realistic as when Jack used to call Will fat on Will & Grace. Not havin' it.
And poor Liz. She innocently offered to talk to the mysterious Michelle (Sanaa Lathan) after she saw Jackie Bisset feel her up and make out with her in the parking lot last week: "I'm here for you." But Michelle didn't appreciate the offer: "You're fired." Good thing Sean was able to convince Michelle to keep Liz on, albeit on a probationary basis. I dig any excuse for Roma Maffia to be dramatic. Love her.
The guest-star-a-rama continued with Peter Dinklage from The Station Agent as Mr. Sawyer, one of the other prospective night nurses for Julia (Joely Richardson) and Sean. Glad he told them he preferred not to be called "height challenged" and that he encouraged them to hold their baby's hand before they change it. Unfortunately, I thought Peter's one scene was -- yes, I'll say it -- too short. Luckily, Julia wants Mr. Sawyer to be their night nurse, so he'll be back.
Side note: have you seen the ads and billboards for the new CBS show Smith? An eerie close-up of Ray Liotta's face turned to the side and a white harlequin-like mask next to him on top. Then the words "Tuesdays at 10 pm." Carver-vibes, anyone? The show even has the same time slot -- just a different network. Being reminded of the Carver as I'm driving home from work, I don't need to see that!

Now three Saved By The Bell cast members have shown us the goods - Zack, Slater, and Jessie (come on, you've all seen Showgirls, even if you don't want to admit it). What I really want to see is Kelly. Tiffani-Amber Thiessen is the best-looking cast member of SBTB by far. Maybe they can get her on Nip/Tuck to be the night nurse . . .
Sean is a bad boy, and based on the previews, this fling will come back to haunt him. So much for he and Julia having their life together.

Whooooaaaa Mario...now there's a body I dont mind seein every week  Those abs and nice bootaaayy. Julian take sum notes..please TAN ur bottom..
My fav moment besides Mario's body...was at the end when Sean said he needed Christian. I love their relationship..too bad Christian is so selfish.
I cant believe Sean slept w/ Monica..ok wait I can believe it but shame on Sean.
Next week looks like another juicy episode!

First off, I want to say that I was very dissappointed that Sean cheated on Julia. How many times is he going to screw things up with her?! I was worried because I heard that **SPOILER ALERT she was leaving the show** and I was scared during the birth thinking she was going to die. I'm glad she didnt but I am still worried for her.
I agree with Lrt1...please tan that booty! It's a nice booty, but it would look better the same color as the rest of your body! Overall I am pleased with the show so far this year. I was a little scared after the snoozefest premier, but it is back to normal now. The only real thing that bothers me is all the guest stars this season. C'mon people...gimicky much! The show is great as is, they dont need all of that to make people watch.

Dare I say it? I'm actually getting sick of seeing JMc's butt every episode! He's gorgeous, I get it, but it's becoming so blase and predictable.
I did love the fact that Liz and Linda were watching Christian on YouTube. Too funny!

I thought it was hilarious that Christian didn't mind the video being on the internet, only that it made him look fat.
I don't like the birth defect plot. It came out of nowhere. If ectodactyly was a risk there would be other family members with it and Sean would not have been blindsided. He would have been checking right away. But at least with this, they can do surgery. Can't do much plastic surgery with Down's syndrome, which would have been a more realistic outcome of having a baby at age 40.
I was wondering how they'd show a baby with this condition and now I know: Weird, fake looking gloves.

ok..things are starting to get interesting.
sean & the babysitter...ew. hating him more. LOVE sawyer the night nurse...was hoping they'd start seeing the baby as a BABY, not just something to fix.
thought liz playing the "we're girls, we'll get along" thing was a little off. i thought she'd be savvy enough to know a female boss will fire you just as quickly as a male. i didn't buy her laying the "i saw you with your girlfriend" on the table so quickly, either.
and the baby sitter IS a doppelganger for kimber!! yikes!
and forget tanning christian's butt..tan matt's FACE!! ick! i can't look at him...he's like a doll!

Why thank you, David, I always love the chance to share the juicy details of my experience with Julian! Since my day job is producing for TV Guide Channel's fabulous The 411, I got to visit the Nip/Tuck set and interview those sexy surgeons and Nurse Linda last Monday. Everyone was super sweet and excited to talk to me about the new season and all their nutty storylines coming up (don't worry, I won't mention any spoilers!) some of the guest stars, (Oh Rosie!) and if they ever get used to those notorious sex scenes (Dylan Walsh said not so much, while Julian said he has no problem with them!) Hey, I don't have a problem with seeing Julian/Christian's naked rear-end every episode, and actually when he walked into the room for our interview, he was unzipping his pants to - yes I'll say it - not nip, but tuck his shirt in. Talk about getting the exclusive!
And actually one of the most interesting interviews I've ever conducted in all my years in this business, was with Nurse Linda Klein, who told me she has the best job in Hollywood. I mean, the woman's worked with Brad Pitt (taught him CPR for Ocean's 11) and gets to show super hotties Julian McMahon, and Grey's Anatomy's Patrick Dempsey and Isaiah Washington how to use the fake blades when performing surgery. Could you ask for a better job?? And I'm so happy she's getting more face time on N/T so I'm curious to see if we'll be seeing more of her on Grey's too. And she thinks it's funny that she's somehow assisting surgeries in both in Seattle and Miami. Hmmm!
I must say I was like a kid in a candy store walking around the set and seeing the McNamara house and the inside of the McNamara/Troy practice, especially the room they hold their consults in. And yes, I had to hold myself back from sitting in that chair in front of the fish tank and say to my camera man, "Tell me what you don't like about yourself."

You would think that with Christian's narcissism he would tan his buns. The fact that Julian does not makes me like him more. Sean's backside is looking pretty good lately. And Mario, Wow!
Matt was kind of hot a few seasons ago. What happened?
I was thinking that Monica looked like Tracy Gold. I definately see the Lisa Welchel comparison. Bad Sean! Totally weak!
I fully expect to see hot buns in every episode!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Loved last nights episode and mario's ass. I can't believe sean cheated on Julia again! and while she was pregnant. The show started off a little slow but its getting better each week, i hope this season turns out better than the last.
just a quick question, does anyone know the name of the song that was playing on the radio when sean drove the babysitter home ?

While we're on the subject of songs (& the fact that I am a big fan of whoever chooses their music), I also was liking the usage of Sister Sledge's "He's the Greatest Dancer" blasting in Christian's new car in the opening scene. For a man trying to exude the "I'm not gay" aura, jamming to Sister Sledge isn't exactly the most manly thing to do. But I won't judge.
