Hi all-

I'm checking in again and this time I think I have the correct link to connect you to a fellow moonlighter's blog. Try this.

If all else fails, leave your comments and critiques below.

Also, here is the link to Alex O'Loughlin's recent appearance on TV Watercooler. Enjoy!

I just want to say "thank you" to the writers. FINALLY-- an episode where Mick wasn't chasing other vampires. It's nice to see a good, old-fashioned mystery with a nice, old-fashioned mortal bad guy. As Beth has told Mick, "being a vampire isn't all you are." Yes, he's a detective who catches bad guys. I'd like to see that emphasized more often.

As a (rare, I think) Moonlight viewer who watches for Josef rather than Mick (Veronica Mars, I MISS YOU SO MUCH), I was glad to see him in a couple of scenes. How about Kristen Bell in a guest shot, perhaps as an old love of Josef's. LoVe forever!

hi all - i agree with all the other comments that although lastnights show was good (very serious, a sad look into the past), there was that lack of warmth and affection that has grown between mick/beth. what little we got was from beth, i've said it before that it is too one-sided. mick said in 'Fated to Pretend' that he needed time to figure things out. hmmm, previews of next weeks show has it looking like he's really working on that, at the expense of beth's feelings. is he drunk with josef's blood? feeling his cheerios? hopefully this isn't the 'real' mick emerging, lets hope he gets his jolly's out of his system and he comes to the realization that beth is the best thing he's got going. but beth is always there, always accessible. i'd like to see her explore what she wants for her life and career, maybe options that will take her away sometimes where mick will miss her being around. geez, i don't know - we're at the mercy of the writers. as someone else said, i also think talbot is, or will be using beth to continue investigating mick.

I just wanted to say I agree with the one who posted that altho last night's episode was good it left a lot to be desired. We've been giving the writer's all this credit for the good shows but they failed some on last night's show. There was no warmth and feeling between Mick & Beth. He never touches her. In fact in several scenes between them he was actually curt with her. And to ask her the week before in Click on the dating issue 'how do you want to do this'...well, I'd tell him to forget it! But last night it was very apparent...no closeness..no warmth...hardly any feeling...when she got out of the car after the discussion about having kids and she said 'goodbye' he didn't even answer her. I hope the writer's know that this show IS Mick & Beth's love story. Without that who wants to watch? I know they have to keep it going for next year (hopefully) but if he does love her as he told Josef then he should definitely start showing it. I'll start rooting for Ben!

Imzadi: Jason Dohring is the reason I decided to watch the show. After hearing that Josef was recast with Jason in the role, I knew that I would be adding it to my schedule. I like Mick/Beth, too, but an episode isn't complete if it doesn't have Josef in it, IMO. (As a kind-of related aside, I was watching my DVDs of Wonderfalls last night, when all of a sudden I heard the familiar chords from the start of "We Used to be Friends". It made me all misty.)

I also have to agree that Mick should start showing some tenderness toward Beth. But root for Ben? Never!

Hi Guys: so long since I've been here but wanted to drop a quick note. Those of you who know me know I'm a HUGE fan since day one but certain parts of last night's ep didn't make sense. Why did the kidnapper call Mick? Why would he then threaten and go after Beth? He was obviously a child stalker, (and much worse) but it just didn't make sense that he would be waiting outside the boy's house and then to call Mick and confirm who he was, why? He'd taken two other children which had nothing to do with Mick so... what was the point? The writers didn't tie it together. On a much nice note, I will say the little exchange between Beth and Mick "we haven't even slept together, maybe it won't be any good" and that look he gave her and the laugh from her; absolute highlight of the show. It brings a smile to my face. Sorry if I am repeating other's comments but I didn't find the recap of the show. LOVE MY MICKBETH

I was delighted to see Anthony Starke guest starring in this episode; he did a terrific job in the part. They really didn't make it clear just why he was kidnapping and killing the boys and I would have liked to have a little more explanation for the character's actions. Anthony was very creepy in the part.

To answer questions abt epi 15, The guy is the obsessive type who likes watching people and as many criminals do they like going back to the scene of the crime to watch the after effects. While there he observed Mick and Beth, and realized they were the ones making progress toward solving the case. He called Mick to threaten him, distract him, and to torture him. This guy gets his jollies by scaring other people.

Been a HUGE fan of the show since the first episode. The thing I like best is that the show doesn't drag things out forever. I'm glad it didn't take the whole first season for Beth to figure out Mick was a vampire. I am very happy that we are seeing more of Josef and I like that he and Beth share a genuine concern for Mick. As to the last episode the thing that bothered me the most was that Mick walked into the house knowing there was a possibility that he'd be recognized. I think that the reason he was distant with Beth is because he felt guilty about what happened with Lila and Ray. He wants to be the good guy for Beth, and he didn't feel very good about that. Also, I like that Beth and Mick can keep it professional when they need to. I like that they seem like great friends who work well together. My favorite scenes from the last episode: Josef noticing Beth while talking about Beth and Mick rewriting the laws of vampire love; Beth telling Ben that Mick wears boxers not briefs; Mick asking if he should be jealous and Beth's answer; the conversation in the car where Beth says, "we haven't even slept together; it might not be any good." I really like how they tease each other. I am feeling very uneasy about the finale though. While I understand that some tension makes resolution better, I don't like unnecessary emotional torture. That's what I really liked about this show, the writer didn't seem to torture us too much without an adequate payoff. I just hope they don't over do the torture before the payoff in the finale.

I have been assuming Ben will be this vampire story character, we will grow to like him, but he will either a/ because obsessed with the dark side once he figures out the whole vampire thing or b/kind of be our, Willow/Zander of the early years of Buffy. But I am guessing either way, while he is probably straight and everything, he will be so Mick or Josef focused that no one will think about a Beth interest.

Oh, one other thing, you ever thing the writers are sad that they made Josef the older vampire and not so much of Mick's contemporary? They are so funny together, you will Josef needed Mick more (I am guessing that Josef will need Beth more because I don't know, a tie to humanity?)

If you haven't heard by now, things are not looking exceptionally good for CBS' "Moonlight". As of right now, it is not even on their fall schedule.

Please see the link below for more info:

http://www.deadlinehollywooddaily.com/primetime-pilot-panic-moonlight-not-on-cbs-fall-schedule-but-not-dead-show-lobbying-for-back-13-ep-order/

We're here now asking all fans to ban together and create a movement that will bring this show the second season that it deserves. Please sign the following petition:

http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/moonlightback

Before you get any misconceptions in your head about this, this is not just another petition to save a show. This will be able to reach the head honchos of "Moonlight" and CBS, so please do your part and sign your name to this. Think about it: It will take you less than a minute to do and could help to earn 20+ hours more of Mick and Beth!

Having a lot of petitions flying around will not help things as much has just having one main petition that everybody signs. There are thousands of viewers to "Moonlight". Let the petition show the same!
