Hi all-

Once again, I'm happy to provide a space for you to discuss the latest developments, share your thoughts on Friday's show, etc. Also, one of our fearless friends/colleagues has taken up the call to blog — follow this link.

In case you missed Alex O'Loughlin's appearance on TV's Sexiest Stars, check this out. Be patient. His clip follows one for January Jones.

Maybe everyone thinks you gave up on the show after the last post. Oh, well. Maybe someone else will respond.

This episode left me with two major
impressions. One was when Mick reminisced about his journey across the ocean on the Queen Mary. The World War II theme interests me because Mick is two years younger than my dad, who also sailed on the Queen Mary to England during World War II (and back). Besides which, Alex in uniform looks a heck of a lot like my dad.

The other impression is dismay at Beth's decision to accept Josef's offer to take care of the blackmailer. Mick attempts to be civilized in spite of his vampirism; Beth uses Mick's vampire friend to protect Mick in a way he would never approve.

What's actually happened to the TV Guide Blog though, has it been made redundant (which if so I really don't get since wasn't it one of the more popular blogs???)?

As it is I clicked on the link and I ended up at a Supernatural post to which I really don't want to be spoiled as I'm lagging dreadfully behind atm.

When I first saw this show I thought it might be a filler episode since CBS didnt give Moonlight a renewal and the writers are trying to be kind and no leave us with too many open ended stories. However, as it continued I loved it. From Mick going rememeber, cant die, I cant die, calling Josef Dad, then Beth doing something that she dreaded to do but did to save the man she loves, and finally the ADA having those pictures of Mick. I was like WOW.
Now I'm not disappointed in Beth because Mick isn't any more nobler than she in his actions. He killed a drug lord for having Josh killed, and he has killed many others maybe even innocent ones when he was first turned. The papperazzi guy killed at the end was a slime ball, and I believe Mick would have thought about doing him in himself. Look at the way he treated Tierney. He was a parasite. At least from Beth's prospective she was trying to save her man, not herself. It had to be hard to cross that line.

Yes, I've read the Moonlighter blog under the Community Blogs and do love it BUT you've got to get to it EARLY, because there are SO MANY OF US Moonlight devotees that I can't read through ALL of the responses. Isn't it great to have a show so many people feel SO passionate about that praise be we can only hope that means CBS WILL renew it!!

Another thing you might all want to check out - Matt Roush promised a Moonlight writeup the end of this week so check his posts. He also picked Josef turning Mick as his #1 of last week's favorites! I enjoyed reading that.
