Episode Recap: No Place Like Home

Things in The Hills are changing. Heidi is heading to Vegas while Lauren and Audrina are drifting apart. We finally see Heidi at work again and she decides it’s time to prove herself to Brent. She tells him she knows they’re expanding all over and offers to travel and even relocate in order to involve herself more in Bolthouse Productions. Just like that, Brent says that they’re working on building up clubs in Vegas and that she should join the team. Heidi, who thinks the project is brilliant, claims she’s totally up for the challenge.

Over at the new house, Lauren and Lo are laying out. As they’re wondering where Audrina is, she suddenly pops up and tells them she’s heading to the studio with Chiara to see some band I’ve never heard of. She invites the girls but Lo does not seem interested. Lauren suggests they do dinner after to celebrate their “roommate-ness” but at the Alkaline Trio recording session, Lauren and Lo actually show up but leave 5 minutes later to go to dinner without her.

Stephanie stops by Heidi’s, where the apartment has been totally revamped. Heidi tells her she’s going to be traveling with Brent and Sam to Vegas to work as a project manager. Stephanie cannot believe she’s actually leaving and is especially upset at the thought that now, she may never get Spencer to leave.

Meanwhile, Lauren and Lo got a puppy! Her name is Chloe and they saved her from a shelter. I have to admit that she’s adorable (and I have a soft spot for rescues) but can these girls really care for an animal? And speaking of, what ever happened to Heidi’s Chihuahua from season 1? Anyway, even Audrina gushes over the pup but Lo makes a point to say that Chloe is going to have 2 mommies (with no mention of a third). Just another reminder that Lo and Lauren are not including Audrina in their lives.

Stephanie is fed up with Spencer and wants him out. Haven’t we heard this before? Apparently this time she’s for real because he actually leaves. He says he cannot wait to go which makes me wonder, why is he there if his sister makes him so miserable? He continues to act like a 12 yr old and tells Stephanie to get out of his face.

Brent, Heidi and Sam get on their private plane to Vegas. When Sam asks why Heidi couldn’t travel before and Brent tells him that it’s because she had a boyfriend that Heidi mentions is now out of the picture. I guess Spencer isn’t aware of this fact because he leaves Stephanie’s and shows up at Heidi’s apartment who of course is not there. I have to say he just looked sad and pathetic.

Next week is the finale and though Heidi is still in Vegas she soon gets a visitor. Audrina looks for a new place and tells Lauren that Lo is pushing them apart. What will the next season be if Heidi and Spencer are split and Lauren and Audrina are no longer friends? Maybe it will be time for MTV, and all of us viewers, to move on.

I am all for moving on. Especially if it gets the original CSI blog back

don't we already know that SPencer and Heidi get back together? I mean they are together in all those photos now. If they are going for drama in that part of the show, there really isn't any.

Sorry, But I am over the show. Okay, I will watch the finale but after that no more Hills! It's all just, same oh same oh. We know Spencer and Heidi are together, all their drama seems fake. The whole show just seems fake and I just read somewhere that there is another season coming. I think it's time to pull the curtain on LC and the hills. Lauren is not even likable most of the time. To me, she comes off as snotty. And I used to love Lo, but she is coming off snotty too.

I use to like Lo but after seeing the way she acts around Audrina I don't really care for her anymore. It's your typical cat fight and I'd be sad to see Audrina leave but it's probably better that way. I do feel that Lo is adding to Lauren and Audrina drifting apart but Lauren needs to grow up over the whole Heidi thing. If Audrina wants to be friends, then let them be friends.

Funny you said that I just took this off my DVR list this weekend after I deleted last weeks episode with out watching. The show is the same thing every week and instead of seeing Lauren grow up we are seeing her go back to high school theatrics
