An Elimination Shocker!

Episode Recap: "Elimination Number Six"

I am speechless! I think I can still hear the boos resonating from the TV as we just learned Sabrina Bryan is going home. She was pegged to be one of the final two in this competition. What happened? I didn't think her latest dance was enough reason for her to go home this week. The rest of the dancers better stay on their game. Sidenote: after reading your comments about a possible romance between her and dance partner Mark, I have to say I agree. Did you catch the "baby" and "I love you"? Hmm...

I was also shocked — shocked — that Jane Seymour was announced safe second. Now, we did not get to see Jane tonight as she was absent due to a bout with food poisoning. I'll bet she is feeling better now!

Did everyone catch Marie mouth, "I am going to faint" when the judges made her wait through a commercial break to find out her fate? It was a surprise that she was not in the bottom two, but that Cameron found himself there. I guess tribal or primal, the audience did not favor his dance. But he will have next week to prove himself.

It was great to see some of the professional dancers back, including Cheryl Burke and Louis van Amstel . I like the scruffy look on Louis. Barry Manilow did a good job, but like Jennifer Lopez last week, he was overshadowed by the dancing.

Sounds like Dance War is going to be American Idol meets So You Think You Can Dance. It was a pretty impressive display of dancing.

I loved that the celebrities got to turn the tables and ask the judges questions this week. Of course the women got straight to the point, like Marie asking why the judges thought she couldn't do this competition. And of course Jane had to bring up the lift question. I don't think Carrie Ann will live that down this season. Did you read her reaction to Tony Dovolani's gift? Read more on that here.

I am sure there is more I forgot to mention, but I am eager to hear your reaction to this shocking news.

Also, read our DWTS backstage report to see which Dancing star is calling for a recount after this "crazy" turn of events.

I am SOOOOOOOO done with this show. Tonight's show was a tragedy. I realize that everyone is working hard--but there is no reason that Sabrina should be going home at this point. She and Mark were destined for the finals. This competition is based TOOOOO much on popularity--and needs to rethink its scoring. Jane and Marie had the lowest scores.

You have lost me as a excited viewer.

I am so completely angry about this.

There should be more weight to the scores than the votes, and then you really have a dance competition, not a popularity contest. Remember Master P stayed for a long time and better dancers went home before him.

This is the biggest injustice in DWTS history. This show is a sham. This is BS and I may never watch DWTS ever again.

I am in complete shock. I voted for Sabrina & Mark last night and I had a hard time getting through. I did get through about 4 times before they told me that my voting limit had been reached.

I never expected her to go. I don't know what I'm going to say to my 6 year old daughter tomorrow morning. The first thing that she always asks me is if Sabrina made it.

I have no idea what the fans were thinking. She was technically the best dancer, and way outclassed many of the others. Really, folks, what were you thinking?

I am so completely shocked, I wasn't a personal fan of Sabrina's, but she was good and I honestly thought she was going to make it to the finals. I've had a problem with the scoring system since Season 1, maybe next season they'll finally changed it, but they shouldn't and couldn't possibly change it in the middle of the season.

On a side note, I too, caught the "baby" and the "I love you"...hmmmmm. They are cute together and I do wish them luck with whatever it is they have going on...

This just proves that this season, there is no reason or rhyme to what can happen!

I may be the only poster tonite pleased with Sabrina leaving......I have posted here before that I just don't like her personality and in a contest like this, likability counts. Apparently I was not the only one who wasn't rooting for her.

I too voted for Sabrina last night and it took me an hour to get through twice. I only got to vote twice last night before I was told I had reached my maximum. I think there was something wrong with the phone voting system and Sabrina is suffering for it. Total crap. I have 5 more votes and they all go to Sabrina. I wonder how many other people had problems getting through, too and how many other votes didn't count.
I demand a recount!!!

Judyl, I guess I am watching the wrong show, my bad. I am so stupid I thought it was Dancing With The Stars, not Liking The Stars. What a fool I am.

i left this on the preview or whatever for this who, but want to say it here. gee, can i say once again that i hate the voting system? fans should not count for half the votes and this is the epitome of the reason why. i never liked sabrina, but that aside, hello!!! she was excellent. and another thing, why is everyone allowed so many votes. whoever wants to vote should be allowed one vote a week for whoever they want. everyone seemed shocked, and rightly so. maybe now they'll wake up and give fans only one quarter of the final vote. And only because some of the judges obviously have their favorites and this would counteract any supposedly unfairness. how must jane or marie feel knowing that it should have been one of them? enough, already!

I have always been a loyal television watcher. If I start liking a show, I am all in. I read about it on tvguide, I watch any talk shows with its stars on it, etc. I mean, for god sakes, I still watch ER!

This show is dead to me. I hope ABC enjoys the ratings flop.

Help Sabrina by not continuing to watch this crap and supporting anything she produces instead.

I know 90210 was a popular show and everything, but come on. There's no reason that Jennie should have escaped the bottom two. I'm surprised Cameron was in the bottom considereing (most) AMC fans would be voting for him. Obviously Marie has fans worldwide. That's the problem with shows like this, it ends up being more about popularity and less about talent.

Sabrina was one of the standout performers of this season. The fact that she is going home this early is disgusting and disheartening. It would be a shame if all the good people were weeded out and at the finals we are left with a bunch of duds. I know they're all working hard, but it's obvious who the premier dancers are. Hopefully people will take that into consideration when they're voting.

I was so freaked out when they announced Sabrina's name! Not my favorite at all, but admittedly she was one of the top 3 so to see her go and not Jane (who i personally love as an actress-GO DQMW!) or at least Marie...STUNNING! I'm in complete shock.
