« Big Brother 9
Episode Recap: March 25, 2008 (Veto Competition/Ceremony 6)
Although I think Adam's original nominations were the correct choices, it's beginning to look like the only way to get James out of the house is by back-dooring him. It's too bad that when Ryan successfully did just that, Big Brother brought him back into the game. Tonight, the pink-haired phenom continued to prove himself to be this season's fiercest competitor by once again winning the power of veto. Given his winning streak and uncanny ability to save himself, he's starting to remind of James from Big Brother 6 and Big Brother All Stars.
The one flaw in James' game at the moment is his obsession with vengeance. He was the guy who during his first HOH rule with Chelsia told his competitors it's just a game. Ever since he almost lost his chance at 500,000, he hasn't seemed to buy into that philosphy. Last week he was on a mission to repay Ryan and Matt for their attempt to evict him, and this week, he's done nothing but gripe about Adam putting him on the block. Hey James, when you win every competition, you're going to position yourself as a major target. Shut up with the whining already!
Alas, with James safe, it looks like his gal pal Chelsia is on her way out the door, since the house really has no reason to evict Sharon, the replacement nominee. The fact that at least one leg of the house's most powerful couple will be chopped out gives Adam's HOH reign a little credibility, and again justifies the reason it was best to put both James and Chelsia on the block together. It was interesting to see some of the cracks in their relationship as James began playing selfishly for himself, asking Chelsia to throw the veto competition since he'd already been evicted once. If not for knowing how tough a competitor she is, it would've been easy to assume she had done just that, given her unusually shoddy performance in the veto competition. Maybe she was just having an off day. I also laughed a bit when she realized that bringing James back into the house could just be her fatal mistake. Oh well, at least she earned a trip to Vegas.
I find Natalie's role as the power behind Adam's throne to be quite hilarious. She is up in his room scheming as though "Naughty Natalie" is in complete control of the house, when that's completely untrue. Although she was very wise to suggest that Joshuah be the replacement nominee, I still find her attitude and over confidence this week to be a bit annoying. Especially since her vengeance is less sweet now than James is off the block.
Speaking of over confidence, Joshuah needs a serious reality check. I almost wish Adam had nominated him jut to wipe his whole "I've been in the house for seven weeks without going on the block" grin off his face. I really wish Evel Dick had torn into Johshua when he compared himself to E.D. While I agree Joshuah has pulled some antics that matched (and went beyond) Dick's, he is nowhere near as smart (or honest) in his gameplay. I also think his alliance with Ryan is going to come out soon enough. If Chelsia wasn't the obvious target this week, Ryan's defense of Joshuah would have ben hard to justify.
I hope Sharon is playing Joshuah a little more than we have seen. Despite his cockiness, it does seem that she is doing his bidding for him at this point. Her assertion in the diary room that the two of them would be going to the final two together seems a little naive for someone who, to this point, had proven to be pretty smart. Although she seems pretty safe, she better use her smarts to make extra sure Chelsia is sent to the jury house this week.
So who do you expect to walk out the door this week? Who would you like to see win HOH? What did you think of Evel Dick's appearance? Share your thoughts and check back tomorrow to see who is evicted! Adam

Actually, Josh was heard saying on the live feeds that ED told him that he was NOT the "Gay ED." Maybe he just took what ED said that way, but even if ED didn't go after Josh, Josh sure seems to have taken it that way. Once James won POV, the house took yet another ugly turn. I'll wait until tomorrow's episode to see how much of it gets shown.
SPOILER OF SORTS ALERT!!!!
James and Chel have been having sex. They seem to not show it on the live feeds, but they've shown clips of it here and there, especially just as it starts and just after. A camera operator zoomed in on a used condom wrapper on the floor under their bed after one "session" the other night.
I'm fairly positive that Chelsia will be going, although Nat was having second thoughts of sending Chel to the sequester house to be alone with Matt, especially after Chel threatened to seduce him.
END SORT OF SPOILER!!!
Man, I feel filthy. It may be 12:40am, but I think I'll go take a shower and then go to bed. Yeesh.

So there you have it, James won the POV. Feed watchers have known for days and Chelsia's fate has been sealed. I wonder if on tomorrow's show, they'll show even a tiny bit of her numerous meltdowns and attacks on Natalie. I highly doubt it as BB seems intent on showing the sweet "love story" of James and Chelsia. They had no problem showing Nat and Matt and the bj's on the live feeds but whenever James and Chelsia are about to get down and dirty (and they've been going at it like rabbits), the feeds switch. Now don't get me wrong, the last thing I want seared into my memory is to watch those two go at it but why the double standard?
BB9 James is a good competitor but let's not get carried away and compare him to BB6 James. The "magical wizards" that James referred to...the ones "keeping him in the game" are called the BB producers. The same people who brought him back into the house after he was evicted. This POV couldn't have been more tailor made for him. I'm sure he's put nastier things in his mouth and even the houseguests were saying on the live feeds that the competitions are tailor made for the people TPTB want to win, which is James more often than not.
My only consolation is to see Chelsia breakdown these past few days, show her true colors and act like a damn fool. I can't wait to see Smellsia (thank you Parker for the great nickname) walk out the door tomorrow night. Hopefully Natalie, Ryan or Sheila can win HOH for another shot at getting James out.

I agree about the only way to get James out is to Backdoor him. However with bd someone is very tricky. You gotta make sure that person you want to bd doesn't play in the POV and the people who might play in the POV r the same ones you have to be aligned with.
As much as I want Chelsia get evicted, I think Sharon will be the one who goes to the jury house. That was a very stupid move that Sharon did. You never want to go up on the block, and volunteering yourself is an idiotic move. Its like volunteering to go to death row. I hope she remembers what happened to Dustin from BB8, he volunteered himself to go up and he was evicted. Yeah it was the AC that did him in, but still he should of never volunteered to go up.
Natalie is impressing me. She maybe dumber than dirt, but she knows who the right people to put up. She knows that Josh is sneaky, and it wasn't Sharon's idea to go up on the block. And she handled herself with Chelsia very well....that will be down in spoiler alert.
I still don't like Josh. He is no way no how like Evel Dick. They need to get him out of there pronto. I wish Sheila, Nat, and Adam figure out that Josh has a secret alliance with Ryan. But those 3 can't figure out nothing. Well maybe Natalie will.
I didn't care for ED's appearance at all. I am a fan of his, but his wake up call wasn't as funny as last years. And they could of done a better POV then the one they did last year.
SPOILER ALERT But this has already been mentioned.
I forgot to chime about Chelsia's behavior after those asked me about it. Well she really showed her butt. She lashed out at Natalie. And thats why I even said Natalie handled herself very good in that situation. She didn't even lash back at Chels. I so hope she goes.
END OF ALREADY MENTIONED SPOILER ALERT!!

I was very disappointed with ED's appearance. I wanted to see some of that smart mouth because NOW he has an entire household of people who deserve it.
I'm still wanting Ryan to win, I guess.
I think Natalie maybe didn't want Sharon on the block because she knows she'll be in that house with Matt and she knows that those two have had at least one make-out session. That little nasty twit always has Matty on the brain. Yuck.
Hard for me to guess who's going home. Of course I want it to be Chelsia, but I really really really wanted it to be James. He turns my stomach. Well, 99% of them do, for that matter.

Ohhh I totally forgot to mention this.....
This could be a spoiler alert, but I doubt that it is cause they won't air it.
~~~SPOILER ALERT(ANYWAY)~~~
The prize that Chelsia won, well she tried to offer it to anyone who would vote for her. But the producers told her she couldn't give away her prizes as a bargaining chip. And she even sunk lower to that....she even offered to give Sheila a certain type of pleasure for her vote. Its time for that chick to pack her things and go.
~~~END OF POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT~~~
By the way, Adams facial ticks are not annoying me like the use to.

Everyone forgot to mention the deal that James made with Chelsia. Before the veto comp, James offered to throw it in exchange for a "Natalie special" from Chelsia. He was serious about it, and I believe Chelsia shook his hand and sort of agreed to it, but as you can see it didn't work out that way.

James is playing the game with revenge. He needs to listen to his honesty speech. Josh says he never lied? um, he needs watch the tapes to. James keeps saying he wont give chelsia his vote, does anyone know why he is willing to let chelsia go out 5-0? I can not wait until Chelsia goes tonight, I can not stand her. She is just plain evil.

Thank you K4 for posting those clips of Chelsia (in the last blog). I go to you tube but I have a hard time finding the good stuff.
Chelsia is so disgusting. And I give Natalie a lot of credit for taking it really well. Even though it would be fun to see Nat lash back I give her a lot of credit for not stooping to Chelsia's level. Some people might think that her religiousness is phony but the way she has dealt with Chelsia says a lot about her. On the other hand having two abortions is also extremely disgusting. I agree that hopefully having to go through that once ~ you would have learned enough to not ever have to do it again but who knows what the situation was. Ultimately I think it is something that you would not tell anyone in that house. That way you wouldn't have to deal with people throwing it in your face and trying to douse you in ketchup. Geez ~ could they be anymore disgusting? I really doubt that Nat actually wanted to do that ~ nobody would.
Joshua has the biggest freaking ego. When he went into the backyard with Dick and said that people think he is the gay version of him it was so obvious that he wanted Dick to agree and I absolutely loved it when Dick said NO ~ It is YOU saying that you are the gay version of me. But stupid bigheaded Joshuah didn't get what Dick was saying and responds by saying "Yeah I'm pretty brutal". What a loser. You have to be a complete loser if Dick is your hero. He has GOT TO GO.

I am hoping that Sharon discovers Josh's scheming this week, my theory might be that Sheila might throw things for a loop again and suggest that they test the other side of the house and say that she, Nat and Ryan are voting for Sharon. When the vote comes down to three-two to evict Chelsia, Sharon will know her "partner" didn't even vote for her to stay. And then I hope she turns to the girls for moral support and Ryan (being the closest thing to a gentleman left in the house) feels bad and confesses his alliance with Josh and that to make up for it, he will make Josh the target of the house this week if Sharon can get James to get off his vengeance kick.

Šarclyte,lizzybelle, et al...
Why do you feel the need to post spoiler's? Why not just stick to commenting on the particular episode and hold the spoilers to yourselves? If people want to see read about spoilers, they can just go to one of the many spoiler web sites?
Krista and Adam,
I have a suggestion for you, in the future when blogging, why not include a list of the sites (i.e. jokersupdates, etc.) that way people like Šarclyte,lizzybelle won't have to?

For those who post spoilers, I personally enjoy reading them. I don't see what the big deal is with them being posted here so long as they are labeled as such and provide for space before and after. And most of the folks who do post spoilers do just that.

Everyone who posted spoilers so far here labeled them as such, which makes them easy to avoid if you don't want to read them.
I like the spoilers people post here because I don't have time to read through pages and pages of jokersupdates.com to find out what is happening in the house.
So thank you Šarclyte & lizzybelle.

Well, I must say this about spoilers...sometimes they can be really hard not to see. Sometimes I have to block the screen with my hand so I don't accidentally see, because right below the spoiler is another post I want to read and my peripheral vision is good enough that I can read what's above my direct line of sight. So it can be tricky, and then I get irritated if I accidentally learn something earlier than I wanted.
I thought it was interesting that Chelsia said it was probably a mistake to bring back James. She's probably right. Short term gain, but it will probably cost her. Remember in BB3 when Lisa had the chance to bring back her firefighter sweetie Eric? It was a huge surprise when she voted NOT to bring him back in the house, but she went on to win as a result, because she was able to fly under the radar without her dominant showmance partner. Of course, Chelsia doesn't know the meaning of the term discretion being the better part of valor.
On second thought, had Chelsia voted for the mystery houseguest, Alex would have returned and fortified the Matt, Natalie, Adam, Sheila, and Ryan alliance, making them completely unstoppable, and Chelsia might have been the first to the jury house instead of Matt, because Natalie would have won HOH without James there and she would definitely have targeted Chelsia and probably Joshuah.
Speaking of Natalie...she might not be book smart, but she's pretty savvy. The Evel Dick guess was just that, a lucky guess based on some unrelated coincidences, but she's sharp when it comes to what her enemies are up to. Matt was her blind spot, because of her complete denial over his feelings for her and the way she practically stalked him, but on the whole, she might not be an intellectual, but she's not someone you overlook completely. She's strong and she has puzzle-solving skills, as well and is a real threat to go deep into the game.
Considering Matt is hotter for Chelsia than he was for Natalie, if Chelsia gets evicted I can foresee a week of nonstop sex in the jury house. Somehow I don't see her remaining "faithful" to James.

You are so welcome adienia and jen6172. I feel the same way about jokersupdates. That info takes way to long to read. I sometimes go to the main bb board at cbs to read some of the spoilers. But that still takes too long to read.
