Episode Recap: April 15, 2008 (Veto Competition/Ceremony 9)
Oh, how I love it when a plan comes together. After last night's episode, the house is well on its way to giving the boot to Natalie. And the best part of it all, at least based on what was shown on the CBS broadcast, Natalie will most likely be blindsided. Of course, she's aware that the flip could happen, but Sheila is doing a decent job of reassuring her.
In fact, Sheila's in a pretty good spot here, and she knows it. It's easier for her to play dumb and put all the responsibility on the boys, which she made clear when she continuously threatened Adam when he suggested that they split the vote and force Sheila to cast the tie-breaking vote. I find her threats to make Adam's life "a living hell" next week if he doesn't follow through a little funny considering she can't compete in HOH. Plus, Adam has put up with Sheila's annoying ways all season long, so how much worse could it be?
Sheila and Adam's relationship continues to be intriguing. After the nomination's Adam seemed legitimately upset that he was nominated. Sheila's rationale for doing so makes sense, but I also understand that no one likes being up for eviction. I partially believe that Adam was just putting on a little bit of show to further sell the secret plan to backdoor Natalie. My opinion of Natalie has continued to sour at rapid pace over the past couple weeks. Between her annoying "premies" and ridiculous number theories (which I was happy to see the rest of the houseguests finally make fun of), she is just a lot to put up with. Plus, she's lately been so smug that it's unbearable. I really hope the boys do stick together and send her back to Matt in the jury house.
The POV competition was held at night, as a TV-inspired puzzle challenge. Although this was edited to take up lots of time (as the numbers dwindle I guess the interesting action in the house does, too), there were a few interesting moments. I found it particularly funny that Ryan and Sharon were distracted by their former significant others, while Sheila had a moment with all the pictures of Evel Dick. I'm shocked that Sharon's "furr-iends" didn’t make this competition easier for her, but ultimately she came in second behind Adam, who was ecstatic to come off the block. (Although I've been supporting Ryan, I'm really pulling for Adam to go the distance now. After all, he will need the money without a job!) I also enjoyed how the producers edited the show to play up how great Natalie is at puzzles, only to reveal that she had the second worse time. (Plus, I loved how snooty Sheila was when she told Natalie her time).
When Ryan, Sharon and Sheila were in the HOH room finalizing their plan to backdoor Natalie, I liked how the camera kept cutting to Sharon laughing. Once again, she could be laughing all the way to the bank. She has been on the block for the last month and has yet to face a real threat of going out. Although Adam seems concerned that she has the votes in the house, Ryan still wants to oust Natalie. I was glad that finally the houseguests are thinking strategically. I agree that Sharon would probably have the votes to win at the end, and I found Ryan's "take Natalie to the end because everybody hates her" theory convincing. I still think that getting rid of Natalie this week is the best move, and I hope that Adam and Ryan ultimately agree. Either way, everyone's future in the game comes down to tonight's HOH competition.

My favorite part of the show was when Sheila admitted her and her mother have had an off and on relationship over the years. Instant translation: "Taking off my clothes and spreading my legs for Penthouse really didn't go over too well with my mom". That's what I heard anyway.
I agree with Adam that Natalie needs to leave this week. I'm a bit scared that Ryan and Adam will take this "we control the house" power trip a bit too far and do something drastic. Hopefully cooler heads prevail.
If Natalie complains one more time about how she "could have stayed up in the box for days and days" I'll go beserk. How stupid do you think she'll feel when she watches the tape and find out she was the only member of Team Christ. I always thought BB should have a post show like The Bachelor's "After the Rose" show. How great would it be to get their perspective on it after learning what everyone thought about them.

Since day one, I was an Adam fan. He was the underdog. I really do not think he lost his job, I think it was said to quiet people. Anyway, if he wins, watch the tables turn in his favor. I am amazed how some one so goofy looking, is so smart but then other then his nose picking, he isnt so bad looking.
BBAD is interesting so tonight should be. You dont know which way the axe is falling.
Ryan was also someone I was hoping had a chance to win. I do not really care about the girls, especially Sheila.
You know, once she opens her mouth, she never stops.
It is also interesting, how they edit the show after watching BBAD, sometimes they are out of sequence.
Anyway.. I hope 10 has more interesting people.. My application is in...lol

During a moment of "What was I thinking?" I was okay with Natalie winning BB. Now I only want her gone. I think the woman is off her rocker with the TC and God angle and her insanity is obvious in her DR sessions. I don't even want to hear her voice anymore. GET HER OUT! GET HER OUT! GET HER OUT! (whew...now i feel much better)

Is Natalie the right one to take out now? I honestly don't think so. I'm gunning for Adam or Ryan and if they want to be the final two, I think they would have a better chance to get there if they get rid of Sharon rather that Natalie. Sharon is more likely to put up both Adam and Ryan if she wins HOH, whereas if Natalie wins HOH, and Adam and Ryan tell her of Shelia's plan, only one of them will go up against Sheila and therefore be left with the only vote on who goes. If I'm not mistaken, there is no more POV's, right?
And why would Adam and Ryan ever allow Sheila not to get her hands dirty in the Natalie eviction. The minute she said that, those guys should have cried foul!
Well, less that 12 hours to go... can't wait to see how this plays out. Anyone know when the finale airs?

I don't think Sharon would put up Ryan as they have a "secret alliance".
I think if they don't get Nat out now that she will be definitely be in the final 2. Of course I don't think she can win against anybody except maybe Sheila.
If Adam is in the final 2 he wins. I think Sharon would win against anybody except Adam. Ryan can only win against Nat or Sheila.

I think the finale is the 27th.
Sheila talking about Evel Dick's body totally grossed me out. What the hell does she see in his body?? It certainly wouldn't distract me. She is nuts. But she is all happy and wants a relationship with her mother now ~ Because her mother loves BB. ~ Okay.~
My guess is that Sharon is going tonight. I would laugh mao if she does because it will shock the sh*t out of Sheila. I would like to see that. I think Sheila thinks that she has this game in the bag. Trying to keep a vote from Nat by blaming her eviction on Adam & Ryan. She thinks she's pretty smart and I hope the guys outsmart her.
Not that I am not sick of Nat. I am. Very. But God wanted her to be on TV ~ as herself. Right?

I think the finale has to be the 29th.
23rd - get down to final 3 and do part 1 of final HOH.
27th - Parts 2 and 3 of HOH and final elimination.
29th - Jury selects winner

But I have to say that I am so dang sick of gNat that I want her out NOW NOW NOW regardless of the logic of it. I just can't stand to watch her one more second.
And, yeah, I think since we have had to put up with this nasty little group all these weeks, the producers should listen to what we want. We want more sequester house, and Krista is dead-on with that "perspective" show idea.
I am looking forward to see what happens tonight. I'm rooting for the guys to take it to the end, but at this point it could be anyone.

You know, I can't decide who I'd like to win, though I do know for sure I do NOT want gNat to win.
I think (thought) I would like either Adam or Ryan winning...BUT! I don't want them to win as an alliance. Let me explain...Overall they've both been smart in this game and haven't really treated anyone terribly. Adam got a bum rap at the beginning but I don't think he's that jerk everyone thought.
However, when the guys go on about their alliance, it's about "getting the bitches out." Not getting the ladies out. Not getting the women out. It's not even "getting the girls out" (which is offensive but lesser so). I just don't know why they have to take it to "bitches." And I've heard it more than once--and can't imagine how many more times they've said it that didn't make it to air.
I'm sure someone will say I'm being overly sensitive but this was one of the topics of my graduate exams--sexism in language. I am probably more sensitive about it but that doesn't mean I'm wrong! Why's it gotta be "bitches?"
I don't mind someone being called a bitch who actually IS a bitch. But Adam and Ryan are equating women with bitches, and using the word interchangeably--and that just rubs me the wrong way.
And for that I would rather see someone else win. Maybe even Sharon. The only reason she's really annoyed me is the screaming in the DR. Other than that she's stayed on the radar...but in a low-key sort of way. Could she be the most winning-est nominee in BB history? I know there was someone else a while back who was put up all the time and didn't go home. I do wonder how Sharon compares to that person (can't remember who).
So anyway, thanks for the rant!

Hi Pinkie & I agree!! It seems every year people want more sequester house footage and there is usually hardly any. And the entertainment value of seeing these people react to what people actually think of them would be priceless! (Amber anyone? I might have even paid to see that! ~ Didn't she go on to be America's Next Top Model?)(Yeah right!)
Well both hamsterwatch and Joker's say the finale is the 27th ~ but who knows?
On Joker's Updates they are auctioning off a dates ~ One with Janelle and one with Evel Dick to the finale! How much would you (not) pay?

Yeah ~ It's pretty confusing info on Jokers. It says ~ 4/27/2008: (Sunday) 8/7c Nominations for eviction are announced. (This makes NO sense!) ??? Then it says You will join Janelle to the Big Brother Finale on Sunday April 27th. ???
Then it says The date of the trip will be determined the moment CBS gives Dick the date for the Finale. ???

Hey ZZZ, I would also love to have Sharon go tonight instead of Nat. I only want Nat to be in the top 3 just to piss of Chels, James, and Josh. The look on their faces will be priceless. However I don't want you to be in the final 2, cause she might win. But it will still be funny for Sharon to be voted instead of Nat. The look on Sharon's and Sheila's face if that happens will be so freaking funny.
I really have a feeling that the final 2 will be Sheila and Adam. I don't know why, but thats what I think is going to happen. But my feelings on something like this won't happen.
I can understand why Sheila and her mom have an off and on relationship. My mom told me if I did something like that she would dissown me. But we will see when that happens.
Anyway, I also agree about more sequester footage. I think every year we always mention more sequester footage. But as usual they don't show us the footage. I think instead of life feeds of the BB house when there is only 3 or 2 in the house show us sequester. I mean when its just down to 3 and then 2 its boring. Wamber...good grief. I wonder how that poor child is doing. I wonder if she is in some major therapy when she read all the negative comments about her on the boards. It would also be so cool if they show the after party on BBAD, that would be fun to watch. And I also love the "perspective" show. That would be so awesome. Another thing that would be awesome or funny is the look on Chelsia's face when she see's what James was up to before BB. Now I would pay to see that.
