Sanjaya Hosts Idol TV Guide Special

In case you ever wondered where your favorite Idols of years past have ended up, here's your chance to find out. One of them, the infamous Sanjaya Malakar, is actually hosting the TV Guide Network special Idol Stars: Where Are They Now? The show will premiere on Sunday, Feb. 24, at 8 pm/ET and will highlight some of American Idol's most memorable and lovable contestants.

There will be exclusive interviews and updates on everyone from Kelly Clarkson to Chris Daughtry, Jordin Sparks, Bo Bice, Melinda Doolittle, Ruben Studdard, Blake Lewis and many more. You may be asking, "Why'd they pick Sanjaya to host?" Well, insane fans like "crying-girl" Asley Feri can tell you that they "heart" Sanjaya big time, and want to see him light up the small screen again.

Folks can 'heart' Sanjaya all they want but I won't be watching this show. Sanjaya and his sister were given about 5 seconds on TMZ the other day. Apparently the brat and his sister expect to be paid when someone takes their picture. What little fame the brat got sure seems to have gone to his head.

Beanne I can't believe you would believe anything that trash website says. They have been hating on the kid for almost a year. I have met Sanjaya during one of the tours and he was nothing but sweet to all the fans.

Can't wait to see the show :)

Ew. No thanks. I couldn't stand his smug smarmy attitude on the show, and I will definitely NOT be watching this. Sad, because I would have if someone else would have hosted it. Triple ick.

I registered on TV guide just to reply to this AI Post. Anybody and I mean ANYBODY but this smart aleck talentless child that for some reason keeps getting attention. I will not even be close to my TV for this and I am starting to wonder about American Idol.

Speaking of "where are they now", how awesome was Jordin Sparks singing the National Anthem at Superbowl XVII!?! OMG, I was so happy for her getting THAT gig! What an honor. :^O

No, I take seriously the fact that Jordin Sparks was a NObody one year ago, and here she is a year later getting such a fantastic gig. I'm not a great fan of American Idol but nobody can deny the significance of Jordin's experience.
You must have a sad life if you can't empathize with the joy that girl was feeling during those minutes on Sunday. Besides, her father was a cornerback for the NY Giants some years ago. She must have been doubly proud that day.
It's a feel-good story; learn to deal with other people's happiness without putting other people down just to make yourself feel superior. Though, hanging out with Sanjaya must have done that for you already. ;)
