Crawling Out From Under A Rock

I realize I haven't blogged on here in a while, and I have no excuses, so let's just move on. Also, I can't guarantee I'll be all that consistent in the future.

However, I just couldn't let last night's Supernatural go by without making the one comment about which I felt so strongly.

I have made no effort to hide the fact that I hate the character of Bella because she's done nothing but put the boys in danger. And quite frankly, I was glad to read on Kristin from E!'s blog that Kripke is not bringing her character back next season. So...here's my comment about last night.

I have done a lot of Bella hating over the course of season 3, but I never hated her so much as when she walked into that hotel room, didn't bat an eye, and shot directly at what she thought was Sam and Dean asleep. Of course we knew they wouldn't be there and that they were setting a trap for her, but she didn't know that and walked in there to kill them, no questions asked. That was uncool. And that's where she became dead to me...thanks to the hellhounds, she became dead to everyone.

I started to understand her motives of getting rich off the supernatural world and I even felt incredibly sad for her when they alluded to what her father had done to her when she was a little girl, but when you pull a stunt like that, no more understanding gets thrown your way.

And don't give me an crap about how Sam and Dean would have done the same thing to save Dean from his deal. You cannot tell me that if Lilith tells them Dean can be free from his deal if they kill Bobby or Ellen or anyone else that they know and love, that they'd actually do it. Sam and Dean are not that cold hearted, and we all know it. I don't know that we've ever seen them kill someone that wasn't a demon or demon-possessed or a vampire (since I'm not sure they count as demons).

Ok...I just had to get that out.

P.S. On Grey's Anatomy: Right on, Christina. I've been waiting for her to give that speech the gave to the Chief since last season.
