Kripke Speaks: Chad Michael Murray to Replace Jensen Ackles Next Season!

Kristen at E! has all kinds of goods on Supernatural today. She's got an article with Kripke that hits on a ton of issues, including:

There's also this little nugget (which is clearly a joke, but a damn good one. Way to go, Kripke!)
Kristen: And then about the finale, "No Rest for the Wicked," I assume Jensen Ackles' character dies and that's the last we'll see of him on the show?
Kripke: Yes, Jensen wanted to focus on movies, and he wouldn't give me the 25 percent salary kickback I demanded, so he's leaving the series. Chad Michael Murray is joining the cast to replace him, and next year will be like that season on Dukes of Hazzard where it was Vance and Coy instead of Bo and Luke. Everything's gonna be a little bit off, but it'll be good...I think you'll like it.
Kristen also has two preview clips up from tonight's ep.

That's hilarious, Rod! However, if, in some bizarro alternate reality, that were to really happen? I don't think I could continue to watch the show. Chaz Matthew Moron bugs me. No offense to any fans of his, I just really don't care for him.

Hey, have you caught wind of any filming on Jensen's movie going on yet in your neck of the woods? We hear it's supposed to start filming 5/12, but if that's in PA or somewhere else, we don't know.

LOL--that was pretty awesome, Rod. Sneaky, yes, but awesome nonetheless.
I think The Kripke should do an episode with a Coy and Vance anyway...like an evil twins episode or something. Or did they do one already? (Seriously, I need to watch S1.) I think that would be hilarious!
