I think your parents named you after the song in the hopes you'd be the opposite of Mandy. Could've been worse, they could've named you Lola. (As in, "She was a showgirl.")
Didn't they name the baby on Northern Exposure Mandy also? You know, Holling and whatsername from Saskatchewan's baby. No, wait, that was Randi, short for Miranda. My bad. I go back to work now.
