I liked that he saw himself as Mac Davis in the mirror. Maxine's interjections were cute too.

A little, thanks sweetie! That's the thing about migraines--you never know when they're going to hit, how long they'll last, or what it was you did to make them go away. Not that you question the last one for long--just hope it's not a "hiatus" but an actual "cancellation"!

I hope it's a cancellation too! I don't know if they're migraines that I get sometimes, but I get these lights in front of my eyes...the only way to describe them it's like looking at a lake in bright sunlight and the shimmering on the water! Then I get a massive headache that will make me sick to my stomach. Thank goodness it doesn't happen too often 'cause it gives me a blind spot while it's happening! For me sometimes the flickering florescent lights or reflections of lights of something will trigger it.

That's a classic migraine, Molls! The lights that you see are called the "aura". Not every migraine sufferer gets the aura but in a sense the ones who do are lucky because it's sort of a pre-warning that a migraine is coming so you can get to safety (can you tell I'm in the middle of a thunderstorm watch?).
It's horrible. Once you've thrown up in your car during a migraine...well, there's little in life that's worse. I followed that up with getting a speeding ticket when I was speeding home trying to beat the migraine before it got too bad. As luck would have it, I was in LA (light is real bright there) at sunset (sun directly in my eyes) near the ocean. I still had to go to court for the ticket.

Sometimes if I can get some meds into me as soon as it starts it'll stave off the headache. I'm just glad it doesn't happen too often!
