Thank You Mr. Kripke
Eric Kripke receiving the blog
Howdy all! I’m getting ready to go to the LA convention, and I remembered how SJ put up a blog before the last convention for people to send a thank you message to the attendees. And since Eric Kripke wasn’t at the last convention, and I thought about this too late to ask SJ to do it again, I figured I’d better do it myself.
Please feel free to leave a message for him in the comments of this blog. I’ll print it out at 3:00PM EST (sorry about the short notice) and if I have a chance to get his autograph, I’ll give it to him. Otherwise I’ll send it in.
Thank you.

Great idea, panns - thank you!
Dear Mr. Kripke:
Thank you for Supernatural! Thank you for the concept, for the brilliant casting of Jensen and Jared, for assembling the marvelous stable of writers, for building the production team in Vancouver, and for harmonizing so beautifully with Robert Singer to create a tale of satisfying psychological complexity around characters I will always love and remember. Here's hoping Supernatural continues through the full life you've planned for it!

Hi Eric!
Or, as you're better known around the halls of TVGuide.com- The Kripkeeper, KTMB (Kripke, That Magnificent B*****d- said with the highest regard, of course!) or just Mr. Kripke.
Thank you for dreaming up this show. It started as a cool show about a couple of guys with chainsaws in the trunk killing monsters, and has evolved into the most engrossing family drama I've ever had the pleasure of watching. It really is a piece of pure magic that's been enchanting us all for three years.
Please thank everyone who works so hard to make the show happen, from the other producers right down to the PA's. Believe me, all of their work is sincerely appreciated.
Oh, yeah...I almost forgot- YOU ROCK!!

Dear Eric,
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for Supernatural. Never have I been so drawn into a television program. The humor, the scares, the snark, the family drama, the GORE! All of it comes together each week & creates a truly magical hour.
Thank you to everyone involved with the show. Your actors, writers, directors, make-up people, set designers, wardrobe people, lighting techs, & all the others. They do a fantastic job of drawing us into the Winchester's world each episode.
Eric, you are a man after my own heart. A kindred spirit. I love you for giving us Sam & Dean Winchester (Metallicar too!) & all the other wonderful characters & creatures who inhabit their world.
I'm sorry that I won't be able to see you in L. A., but would you consider coming out to the Dallas convention in June or the Chicago convention in November?
Rock (salt) on, dude!
Jaimie (from Michigan)
Panns--thanks for doing this! Have a great trip!

Dear Mr. Kripke,
on behalf of myself and from all your fans in Australia, a very sincere thank you for giving us truly one of the best shows created on television.
I have never been so captivated by a drama series as I have in Supernatural. It is absolute "must watch" Monday night television for me & I wait ever impatiently for "blasted" reality tv to end (running over time as always) for my weekly dose of "Supernatural" magic.
Thank you to the writers for creating such wonderful stories. Thank you to the Directors, Producers for finding the locations and knowing the best way of telling these stories.
Thank you to the set designers, special effects team, camera crew, props, riggers, and to all the many other people who make up the "Supernatural family".
Thank you for giving us Jared Padalecki & Jensen Ackles who have portrayed their roles, creating such depth, humanity, complexity to two such wonderful characters as the Winchester Bros.
Thank you giving us truly one of the best writing, best filmed, best made, television shows ever created.
Thank you all for your passion, enthusiasm, belief in this show and believing that quality television can be made, regardless of big budgets or little budgets.
Here is looking forward to many more episodes, for whatever time you need to tell your story.
Know that you will always have our support, encouragement, criticism (with love) and our sincere thanks for everything you give us.
Warmest wishes to all.

To The Kripke:
Thank you.
Two words that simply cannot eloquently say all that is in my heart, yet they are all I have to offer.
Thank you for sharing your dream, your vision.
Thank you for creating this show, for weaving this incredible tapestry of a family’s journey – melding creepy, horror with subtle (and sometimes not) humor and gut wrenching, mind numbing, soul touching emotional drama.
Thank you for assembling an incredible group of writers to torture, er … um … delight us with each episode.
Thank you for sticking to your guns and bringing the driving beat of classic rock to television.
Thank you for inspiring a woman who has long enjoyed television but never to such an extreme as to realize a dream of her own, to find a passion for something so intense that she had to write about it and through that writing was able to reach out and make new friends around the country and around the world.
Thank you for Supernatural.

P.S. Do you suppose you could fit the Dallas Supernatural Convention into your schedule? I know that I would not be the only fan to be delighted to see you there!

Eric Kripke,
Thank you for creating such a wonderful show. I have two sons and we enjoy watching Supernatural together. They really get a kick out of Sam and Dean pulling pranks and deliberately annoying one another. Thanks for giving us a great show to plan family time around.

Dear Mr. Kripke:
Thank you so much for this wonderful show! My husband actually got me hooked on it during the first season and ever since then, we have enjoyed sitting down and watching it together. Not only that, but I have made so many on-line friends as a result of our shared enthusiasm for Supernatural.
Thanks also for setting so many of the shows in the Midwest. As you've said, we are often overlooked and it's about time that we get some recognition. I smile every time I see Minnesota.
Keep up the hard work and I really look forward to Season 4!!!!!!
Ocean (from Minnesota)
PS Panns: Thanks for doing this! Have an awesome time in LA and Congrats on the big red star!!!!!

Dear Mr. Kripke:
Welcome back to the writer's room! We have missed you and your merry gang of sadists ingenious facilitators desperately. *winks* Ditto all the kudos and appreciations everyone else has presented. Supernatural is fantastic, and has managed to permanently mark my road trip motel choices. Never before have I been so suseptible to the power of suggestion (i.e. curiousity to test whether those sets are really real!). It's been fun... I owe you props big-time!
Best wishes and fond regards, Kooshie

Panns - I'll echo ocean's thanks for doing this--great idea, and I hope you have a wonderful time at the convention.
Mr. Kripke,
I'm an old gray-haired lady who's been watching television since 1953, and Supernatural is one of the most fascinating and captivating series in my TV-watching lifetime.
I started watching it because I'm interested in supernatural phenomena and because I had loved Jared in Gilmore Girls. (He has certainly grown in his acting chops since those days!) But, of course, the series turned out to be much more than scary stories--the heart and soul of it is the family dynamics and the relationship between the two brothers and their father.
I've never lived in the midwest, and always enjoy watching shows that are set there. It's always a nice change from the two coasts.
I was very relieved when the CW announced the renewal so quickly. For all of our sakes, I hope you get your full run so that you can tell the complete story.
Thanks to you and your crew for all of your efforts in giving us this wonderful series.

Dear Mr. Kripke:
THANK YOU so much for giving us the thrilling, captivating, emotional, and absolutely incredible journey that is Supernatural. Words can't begin to express how much I love your show and the wonderful Winchester brothers, brought to life so perfectly by Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, two actors who I consider myself truly privileged to be able to watch week after week. You couldn't have done a better job in your casting choices! And of course, fantastic actors need fantastic behind-the-scenes work to ground their performances, and your team of writers, directors, producers, set designers (and anyone else whose name and occupation rolls on the credits) most certainly delivers, in spades.
Supernatural is without a doubt the best show on television today, in mine and many others' opinions, for the simple fact that it dares to be different. It dares to have substance and soul. It dares to impart lessons about life, to teach us about the past, to focus on the importance of the things that really are the most important things in life - family, friends, and love. Its plots and characters dare to fight for what's right, to take on the battle of opposing the darkness that lies in the outside world and within themselves. Whereas so much of today's TV has found itself lost in concentrating on weekly sex, plotless violence, empty comedy, 'drama' that would be better described as 'drivel', or the dreaded unreality of 'reality' to make their shows tick, Supernatural most thankfully hasn't. Your show doesn't need these things to tick because, above all else, it has heart. And that, Mr. Kripke, is precisely why your show has found its way into all of our hearts. I look forward to continuing to live the experience that is Supernatural, and I sincerely hope that your entire vision can play out as you intend it. I know that if it does, it will be something to behold (it already has been!), and I thank you so much for sharing it with us! As my friend Jaimie said, rock (salt) on, dude! - Amanda, 22, West Virginia <---a state chock full of nice, interesting urban legends, by the way! *hinthint*, *winkwink* LOL.

Dear Mr. Kripke,
Thank you for creating the phenomenon which is Supernatural. From the pilot, this has been pretty much the only show that my husband and I make a point of watching together each week. We both thoroughly enjoy it. (Well, that and I need somebody to tell me what’s going on when I have my eyes covered.) And thank you for fighting alongside us to keep the story of Sam and Dean on the air.
Please convey our thanks to all your cast and crew who work very long hours to create a “mini horror movie” each week for us. We really appreciate all the hard work, and how it shows in the completed product.
Congratulations on Season 4!
Panns
P.S. Please don’t kill Dean
P.P.S. Drain cleaner? Really?

And Panns, congrats on the red star, and have a load of fun, you crazy goat! Haha, now you'll have to explain the goat thing to Kripke! *runs away laughing*
And P.P.P.S, Mr. Kripke, please don't kill Sammy either! Once was MORE than enough! Ahem. Okay, I'm done.
