Supernatural: What about Jensen in A Very Supernatural Christmas?
Ah...It feels so good to be back to the regular routine of posting a Jensen blog on a Friday morning.
Although, I have to admit...I really need YOUR help with this one. See, I watched the episode closely only one time, thinking about what I was going to pick as my favorite Jensen moment from A Very Supernatural Christmas. I even woke up in the middle of the night and thought about it. But I just can't do it. I can't say what my favorite Jensen moment was.
See - to me, Christmas is a time for families and sharing special memories and remembering what you are thankful for. What I'm thankful for, Supernatural-related, is that we have both Jensen AND Jared on this show. Without the two of them, we wouldn't have a show. I firmly believe this.
Therefore, I'm going to share my favorite moment from the episode and I'd like you to share either your favorite Jensen moment or your favorite Brotherly moment.
My favorite moment from A Very Supernatural Christmas: At the end, when Dean walked into the hotel after a beer-run, to see that Sammy had decorated the hotel room. I was a puddle of tears throughout this entire scene.
My runner-up favorite moment: Finding out the meaning behind Dean's necklace. Is Kripke Co. trying to keep Kleenex in business???

Because for some reason this episode has me very emotional still, I am having a hard time picking a favorite moment. In general one thing I love about Dean is how happy he gets over some little things. He was thrilled to exchange presents with Sam at the end - so sweet.
Is Kripke Co. trying to keep Kleenex in business??? Yes, he is evil don't ya know?

I loved that Dean bought Sam skin magazines....I was laughing so hard over that one! And the look on Dean's face when he walked in and saw the decorations.....loved it!

The scene at the end caused flooding, I can tell. I was a weepy wreck.
But one of the funnier Dean moments was when he asked the god-duo is someone was going to get the door with plyers in his mouth.
My favorite brother moment, besides the Christmas celebration, was when Dean pulled his usual big brother teasing on Sam in the Christmas store and Sam didn't even glare much, and just went for it (well, for Sam): "It was yummy."

MC: That is one of the things I love about Dean - just a little bit of kindness shown to him goes a long way!!! I guess I'm going to have start researching Kleenex stock. *sighs* The things I do for this show!!
Gaby: I loved that Dean bought them and how excited Sam was about receiving them!! He didn't seem embarrassed or anything. LOL!
Whimsy: I wonder how clean that pliers was... Who calls a wreath "yummy"????? But yeah, you're right - he did just go along with Dean without much glaring. I love how Sam is always the butt of Dean's jokes like that!!

I agree with your favorite moment. Most definitely! I sort of knew Sam would do it, but that didn't stop me from tearing up while watching it either!

Hi Skim! I kind of had the feeling that Sam would do it too, but then I wasn't sure. Aren't they just the best brothers, EVER!?!?!?!

Hi Ocean,
Great blog! I had so many tender heart moments over last evening's episode, that I did a blog on it today. I was crying pretty hard by the end, it sure hit all my emotional pulse points.
The interacting between weeSam and weeDean and bigSam and bigDean were all my favourites.

Yes, the end had me in tears too. Especially when Sam didn't finish what he was going to say, and asked about the game instead.
Favorite Dean funny moment: when he started singing "Silent Night". For some reason, knowing that Jensen can actually sing quite well made that even more funny!
I'll have to think some more about favorite scenes in general. And maybe rewatch. Darn! Fudge!
Oh yes, I did like “you fudging touch me again and I will fudging kill you” too.

Hi SJ! I agree - I almost picked the WeeChester moments as my favorite, but then the end scene won out! I so can't wait to rewatch this episode!!!!
Pannsy-poo!!!! I know what you mean about the singing! It was so weird to hear Jensen singing bad that it just didn't click right for me. I think Fudge is going to be heard an awful lot around the Sanitarium from now on!!!! Kinda like asshat and nurples... *giggles*

Nice pic, Ocean. What is he doing there? *doesn't have time to look at the epi right now*
I love the way how Dean keeps putting Sam in awkward situations. With the elf and "sitting on Santa's lap", and in the wreath store. Sam needs to get a little quicker on the uptake.
