Supernatural: What about Jensen in Mystery Spot?
Let's talk about Jensen in last night's episode, Mystery Spot.
I haven't had a chance to rewatch it yet, which I think I need to in order to find my favorite moment. So, instead, why don't you tell me your favorite moment??

"Rise and shine, Sammy!" Dean would say that every single Tuesday.
The gargling scene - the way he looked at Sam out of the corner of his eye and smiled.
The confusion on his face when Sam was trying to explain that Tuesday was happening again and again - "how is that not deja vu?"
The look on his face when Sam hugged him - and even though Dean didn't really hug him back, he didn't pull away, either - great scene!

The two of them talking in unison.
The "Heat of the Moment" dance.
And everything that Gabs said!

Aaahhhh...so hard to pick just one!
The whole "heat of the moment" dance. Every time he did it, I laughed like a loon!
Oooh, Gabs, the gargling was good too! I love the look on Sam's face (the first time) as he looked at the tube of toothpaste.
"Do these tacos taste funny to you?"

I also loved how uncomfortable Dean looked when Sam "wigged out" (tying up the Mystery Spot guy, confronting the Trickster), but he still went along with it.

"Hey Tuesday...Pig in a Poke!" Followed of course by Sam's "do you even know what that is?", with Dean's 'really pretty sure' look!
And boy, did Jensen rock in every death scene!

Gaby: Great moments!!! I loved the gargling...I couldn't stop giggling during that.
Panns: I love it any time the two of them talk in unison...so I was in heaven last night during that scene. Do you really think Dean would sing along to "Heat of the Moment"? It seemed a little out of character for a guy that listens to Metallica, Zepplin, etc...
Rap! "Do these tacos taste funny to you?" HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I forgot about that!! I'm trying not to giggle out loud at work now....
Panns (again): Isn't it awesome how even though they may not agree with what the other one is doing, they still support each other??

Hi Kris! Every time he ordered that, I kept wondering what Pig 'N a Poke was. LOL!!! Jensen did do an awesome job in the death scenes...especially the Wednesday one. I couldn't believe that they killed him off. I was like, wait a minute - Dean's dead????? It was so bizarre seeing Sam on his own...

By far the funniest was the Heat of the Moment Dance.
The one that made my heart melt was when he changed his order to make Sam feel better. Sam's look of relief really sold it.

Hi ocean! I agree, really odd, kinda scary, to see Sam on his own.
re: Pig in a Poke, they did show it on the plate one time through, though I have to admit I didn't look at it close enough to see what it was. Darn, I have to watch it again. ">

Death by Golden Retriever! Dean must've confused the puppy with THE Puppy!

Yeah, but I thought he would pick something totally different and then all he did was change it to sausage...which ended up killing him anyways.
Kris: re: Pig in a Poke, they did show it on the plate one time through, though I have to admit I didn't look at it close enough to see what it was.
Oh yeah, you're right. I'll go look for a screencap...
Rap: I knew the dog would come into play at some point. Death by Golden Retriever!!! LOL!

Pig in a Poke ->
This is the best screencap I could find for now...looks like just eggs and hashbrowns...

ocean-thanks! Think there was a better shot from when she was setting the plates down, but darned if I can find one. But how's this...
[from wikipedia] "Pig-in-a-poke is an idiom that refers to a confidence trick originating in the Late Middle Ages, when meat was scarce but apparently rats and cats were not."
A confidence trick?!?! Early clue to the fact that the Trickster was involved? Dang that Kripke is good!

I loved Jensen and the way he was doing his thing with Asia's Heat of the Moment. I adored the gargling part.
The hug, for me, was the most wonderful. The way Jared's eyes showed what he was feeling when he was looking at Dean so desperately, oh it was just beyond fantastic.
