Me & Goliath - Mar. 9/08
Pathway to house.JPG
I feel like Alice...but it's not wonderland!
Not me, that's for sure!!! The first picture I'm calling Me & Goliath, the second picture I took from eye level on my walkway to my house. The sun's trying to come out, but it's STILL snowing.
Welcome to a *true* Canadian winter, wanna come visit? I have an extra shovel...:^O

My goodness! There's so much more snow from when I came to visit!!! I didn't think it was possible. I spoke to my mum yesterday and she told me how much you guys have gotten, but it didn't seem real until I saw your pictures. Meanwhile, ours has turned to ice thanks to the rain we had last week. It's got to be spring soon... right???

I sure hope so Kelly. Unbelievable isn't it. I'm really hoping that was the last "big" blast we get. I know we'll get more snow, I just hope not like this past week. How are you doing, your on the home stretch of school now.

The end is in sight! 6 weeks to go! I'm doing alright, I just keep telling myself to stay focused. Speaking of which, have to get some work done so I won't feel guilty for watching tv later tonight. Good ol' Big Brother and Dexter! How are you feeling about Dexter now?

Ohhhhh Robyne! I'll never complain about our rain again!! Laws a mercy, girl, I don't even think a snow blower would help you.! Just keep saying. "Spring begins in March. Spring begins in March. Spring begins in March." Maybe the weather will eventually start listening to you! Take care!:-x

We are buying a snow blower no matter what next year.

What? You don't want the biceps of a Mr. Universe??? Hahaha! That reminds me - we lived in Newport, Rhode Island for a year when my husband was going to the Naval War College there. What a beautiful place. Anyway, the previous winter they had gotten pounded with something like 27 snowstorms. Everyone was poised at the ready with their brand new snow blowers. How much snow did we get that winter? One morning. It snowed one morning and was gone by the afternoon! So maybe next winter you're due for a break - we can always keep our fingers crossed!:-D

LOLOLOLOLOL. I figure a sure fire way to have hardly any snow is to buy a snowblower...money well spent in my opinion.:^O

Oh Wow!!! I do not envy you one little bit!

I never cared much for snow, even in the maximum 12" or 18" that I ever had to deal with at one tme. I think if I woke up to find something like that, I would soon become your basic 'screaming meemy'!!

Hope the big thaw comes sooner rather than later!

Hiya Lynda, how's things with you? I don't want it to melt too fast though as that brings a whole new set of problems as in...pool party in my basement.:O

LOL!:^O Absolutely worth it! I think even my daughter, the snow lover, would be tired of it after all you've had!

It reminds me of the winters of my childhood in Minnesota. That is really something Molly. Yuck. You can have it. Igloos are a good idea when you've got that much. If you can't get rid of it might as well live in it. Of course, eventually all homes look like Igloos. Are they worried about flooding this spring? When the Fargo area got hit like this seven or so years ago, the flooding there and downstream was awful that spring.

Oh MAN. I just got kicked off the Internet, and then when I logged back on, the strip where I select "Community Blogs" was gone. Again. I had to select any random article and find it on the left side of my screen to get back over here. What the heck. This started randomly happening to me a couple of months ago. Aggravating!X-(
