Regression Analysis: Into the 90s...
Instead of watching reality TV, game shows, or anything first run this summer, I'm instead regressing into the past. I started with Veronica Mars from the mid 2000s and now my newest kick is X-Files. It's been on sale for $19.96 per season at Wal-Mart so Eric picked up Season 1 on Friday. Although the pilot was a little shaky, we're now on the 6th episode and it's picking up steam. The chemistry between Mulder and Scully is fabulous and what kept us interested early on. I know there's a lot of X Files fans out there and I guess I should apologize in advance for arriving so far AFTER the show was ended. But the discovery process is fun!

We bought the series last year when the hubby was out of work for $19.99 a season. We have them all & hubby has watched them all. I started to watch with him but he was watching even while I was working. He really enjoyed it.

Trishy: It reminds me a lot of SN. I think you'd enjoy it too.

Fi, I've seen episodes here & there and enjoyed them, some more than others. As far as it being a lot like Supernatural, I'd watch Supernatural over X-files any day. Supernatural has much better assets.

*giggles* Oh, HELL YEAH, the assets are better. Mulder is cute, but he's no Dean Winchester!

Fi:
I was a big X-Files fan from the start. The first season, I bought a T-Shirt with "The Truth Is Out There" and "I Want To Believe" on it. It now has about 4 holes in it, but I can't bring myself to throw it away.
My favorite episode from Season One is "Ice", although Squeeze and Tooms are pretty darned good, too.

Whooooo! Veronica Mars!
Okay, that's out of my system. So excited about your PM, Fee! Just curious, do you have red hair? (Your comment to John made me think you might.)

Fi - I still watch the X-Files and I still remember the first episode. I have my favorites and most of them are in seasons 3-5. Towards the end it just wasn't the same show. But enjoy it now because it really was unique for it's time.

Oh, and I was a Dean girl at first - mostly because I knew what a cutie Jensen was from his time on Days of our Lives. Sam was GG's Dean for me for a while....then I got over that. Now I prefer Sam - I am speaking of as a sex object, not a character. I like them equally that way. ">
