Is the strike over? If so, whoopeeeee!

Gabs: I was just over on your other blog wondering when you were posting this blog. I must admit that I couldn't help but posting a few comments while the show was on.

Yes, people, I am obsessed.

But, WOW indeed! I loved this episode. Sammy's dream--what a shocker--and the faces he made afterwards when Dean was questioning him. Too funny!

That Bela-biatch! She's always out for something.

So was anyone else yelling at the tv like me: "Dean, wake up. Wake up!"

Jared (and Jensen) knocked this one out of the park. This episode, for me at least, was so intense. If someone had tapped me on the shoulder, I would have gone through the roof.

Where to begin? Sam in the bar, drinking whiskey, at 2 p.m. Poor, heartbroken Sam. The way he looked at Dean, asking him "What's wrong with you?" He wanted so much for Dean to WANT to live.

There is a lot more, but for me, that scene in the bar and the end scene in the car. Did you see the look of sheer relief when Dean said he didn't want to die? Sam is going to move heaven and earth now that he and his brother are on the same page. FINALLY!

First off, I refuse to believe Sammy would have a dirty dream about that beyotch who SHOT HIM! And that was BEFORE he took the dreamroot! Although Dean waking him up from said dream was hilarious! HAHAHAHA..."happy noises"!!!!!!

Also, Sam getting the crap beat out of him by some dream-psycho wasn't fun. Boy am I glad we didn't need to worry about any bruising!:-p

I love Bobby asking him about the dream outcome & his powers at the end & the fact that Sam wasn't real positive that it didn't involve his powers. Heeee!

Oh & he looked bee-yoo-ti-ful as always!

Yes, intense!! I mentioned that on your Jared blog, Gabs. It was one of those edge-of-your-seat episodes.

The three J's were phenomenal, weren't they? (Jared, Jensen and Jim, of course)

Rap:

Yeah, the Bela dream really threw me too. Can't figure out why that one was thrown in there.

Yes, Jared was indeed bee-yoo-ti-ful! :)

Rap: "Sam wasn't real positive that it didn't involve his powers."

Hmmm? I wonder? My first thought when I saw that scene was "He knows more than he's saying." Now, I'll have to watch it again soon to see if I still think that.

So, funny as it was and as much as it made me totally envy Lauren Cohan, LOL, the Bela dream threw me too! I don't get it, Sam is SO NOT attracted to her and PLEASE don't let them take it that direction! I think he was having more of a nightmare! LOL. But yeah, if anyone figures out why it was thrown in there, please let me know!

As for the rest of it, WOW, WOW, and WOW! This was definitely intense, and DemonDean made me jump a mile! Esp there at the end when Dean was reminiscing on what he was saying...but was this a good thing? He finally admits to Sam that he doesn't wanna go to hell...hopefully Sam's broken heart can start mending a little now! That scene in the bar...man I feel so much for that poor kid! And as always, Jared brings it right outta me with just one look...sigh.

Oh man, it about freaked me out when Jeremy had him like, staked to the ground, YIKES! But yep, Sam, ever our smarty, figured out he could control the dreams too! And hmm, he wasn't so sure that he didn't use any of his psychic powers to get free...I know they're supposed to be gone, but I can't help but think they're just dormant instead.

And I echo your statements, gals, Jared certainly was bee-yoo-ti-ful! *dreamy sigh* :-x And OMG, LOLOL, as I said on JP blog, all I could think of during the hospital scenes was how are they keeping a straight face cuz Jared's messing with Jim Beaver's toes! LOLOLOL! :^O

Kitty: I think he was having more of a nightmare!

Ha! Ha! My first thought when he opened the door to her was that he was already having a dream that was influenced by the drug. So when he woke up and Dean started pressing for details and Sam stutters about the dream being about no one (his face was a picture), I knew they were going for comic relief before they threw us to the wolves. How 'bout the "Give me aminute" line, and Sam's look when Bela does actually show up at the door then opens her coat. Priceless!

I have to admit that I can't talk about the show yet ... still processing ... trying to not crawl under my desk but rather sit by my fire and relax with my tea.

BUT ... I saw Gaby's question ...

NO. The strike is not over.

It is potentially close ... but it is not over. There is rumor that the "companies" are drafting contracts to be reviewed ... but nothing is going to be done until after the WGA membership - both East & West coast hold their meetings on Saturday. After that ... there is rumor that the strike board (ie. those negotiating for the WGA members) will be meeting on Sunday.

What you are hearing are rumors. Partly "yay" type rumors to build hope but hope is easily dashed. Until it is given out officially by Patric Verrone and Michael Winship (Presidents of the West and East coast WGA respectively), then it is not fact.

What is fact is that the membership is meeting on Saturday to discuss what has been negotiated.

Keep up the good thoughts that we get our writers back soon ... but more importantly, that the deal that is struck is fair for everyone involved.

I now return you to your squeeing.

I'm going to go find my tissues and another cup of tea.

The moment that stands out for me is the expression on Jared's face when Bela shows up for real and takes off her coat. That boy is hysterical!

I also thought for a split second that maybe Sam was hiding something when Bobby asked him if his powers hadn't made a comeback in that dream. Hmmmmm....

LOL, yeah Shutter, it was definitely funny and the looks on Sam's face were priceless! :^O It seemed so random to me though, which is okay, but I just hope it's nothing but sheer comic relief, because for them to put into the plot line that Sam is attracted to Bela in ANY way, would be an insult to his character. Our Sammy goes for the NICE smart/strong girls - Sarah, Madison, Jess was probably one too. A Sam-Bela romance is a big 'just say NEVER' for the sake of our boy's character!

Gabs, I made some disconnected things in my entry. But yes, the dream was interesting and completely out of left field. But hmm...we know that sex and our Sam is always a little...umm....the dark and kinky side...fantasizing about the chick who shot him? Oh yeah, really disturbing...and hilarious at the same time.

Allo Gabs and ladies

So many good scenes in this episode. Both of the boys were good. But since this is Jared's blog, let me talk about Jared. Tonight Sam was drunk, mad, sad, worried, awkward and more. Jared made me feel all those and more.

My favorite Sam scene, to many to choose right now. I have to watch it again. But right now, it's the one in bar, he's drunk but you can also see he's desperate, because he thinks Dean doesn't want to be saved. Jared did a superb job, making us understand Sam's state of mind. Great work !

OK, Met, I'm with you on Sam's "psychic" knowledge (until I rewatch to be sure.)

Kitty: Our Sam goes for the NICE smart/strong girls.
I definitely think that was the case but remember he's acting more like Dean now. Plus, there was that time that Dean caught him looking at the porn channel.

I think the dialogue in the hospital when they realize they have to ask Bela for a favor shows what they think of her. Something like:
Sam: "Are you suggesting we ask Bela for a favor?"
Dean: "I'm getting dirty just thinking about it...but yeah."

They don't really want to be involved with her (but they probably still think she's hot.)
