Whedonverse alert: Joss Pens Internet Musical
Writers' Strike or not, you can't stop a writer from writing--or coming up with great stories. What did Joss Whedon do during the Writers' Strike? He wrote a musical called Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. Yes: it's a musical. Yes: it's only to air online. Starring: Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion, and Felicia Day.
Sources: nathanfillion.org and a Neil Patrick Harris interview at Ain't It Cool News.
Now, mind you, I haven't seen anything that has Joss talking about it directly (I'm hoping he'll mention it at the Buffy reunion) but fingers crossed!

Well, it seems to be all over the blogs, so maybe it is true. This blog seems to link to a message from Joss himself on Whedonverse.

It is confirmed by Whedon himself that this is happening. Filming began yesterday (03/15) and so far is going well You can read the link in the previous comment that goes to Joss' statement on the musical.

Thanks for the confirmation Spark! I'll echo Leah and Mannie and say I can't wait either! Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillion singing words penned by Joss Whedon. What's not to love?
