Dr Horrible: Act 2
I didn't think it was possible to have loved Act 2 even more than I loved Act 1. Apparently, I have Done the Impossible! And we haven't even gotten to the Denouement!
I'm dying to talk about it, but I have to get a few things done first. Feel free to start without me! Hope no one has trouble getting through today. I got through on the first try at www.drhorrible.com.

13 minutes of greatness! Dr. Horrible's face at the beginning was SO sad!!! Did you notice in the soup kitchen NPH taking over pouring soup? That reminded me of HIMYM!!! I also loved how Captain Hammer doesn't like anything but himself and Penny doesn't seem to notice because she's looking away when he does all his faces!!!

Captain Hammer eating with his gloves on. Captain Hammer brushing off the homeless guy's "cooties". Dr. H. ladeling the soup in the background! Dr. H. stalking them. Penny & Dr. H.'s duet. Boy, NPH can really sing!
Penny: I'm a fan of laundry.

YEAY!!!! I loved all the lines you all pointed out. I've only seen it I think four times so far this morning, but I will again later. Loved the shots in this one too--like the sun glinting off Horrible just as he's stomping down the street like Godzilla.
I don't go to the gym, I'm naturally like this!
BAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Funniest thing about this is that I was going to ask on his page whether he'd gone back to Jon-Jon (he's trained with him before) before he did this. LOL.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the songs. My god, Felicia has a lovely voice. And she totally is Snow White in that outfit with the blue top and red belt and the little birds on her shoulder.
Brand New Day is totally reminiscent of The Southland (Jed's band, who rock in case you were wondering).

Mannie-I had tried to get the lyrics for the first song too. Now I want to tackle the end bit - NPH is speak/singing really fast! But I have to run off to a meeting! Drat!

Obviously this is important because it's mentioned TWICE. I guess that's why he's DOCTOR Horrible. As opposed to ABD Horrible. *giggle*

Okay, so I rewatched Part I after buying the season pass at iTunes. Then I watched Part II. Then I got up and haven't stopped thinking of it and how sad I am there are only three parts. I find myself constantly singing...
With my Freeze Ray I will - stop - the world....
Is there a special award to give NPH? He is brilliant.
The second part is beyond brilliant. Joss Whedon and brothers are beyond brillliant. I can't think of a better word or all this. I am going to cry when this is done. But I'll have it on my computer to rewatch.
I noticed last night it was the 2nd most downloaded TV show at iTunes for the week. I bet it goes to #1 today or tomorrow.
