Funniest Moments on TV: Seinfeld, 30 Rock, The Office, and more
Attention Seinfeld fans: Sony Pictures is releasing Season 9 — the final season — on November 6. In honor of the comedy classic, here's a tribute to some of the funniest moments on TV lately.
The Future is Spastic Award: On Beauty and the Geek, couples paired off for a night at the prom. Joshua broke out of his shell by busting out some dance moves, the likes of which we haven't seen since Elaine's footwork. The, uh, awkward choreography paired with earnestness makes Joshua, this week's "shining star."
The Yada Yada Award: The Office's uber-cool Darryl Philbin put the kibosh on Kelly's snit with the words: "I like you, all right. What's not to like? But you need to access your uncrazy side." That gem earns Darryl kudos for the most awesome quote of the week.
The Master of His Domain Award: Jack, the fictional pompous network executive on 30 Rock came up with a gimmick to boost ratings by inserting digital images of Jerry Seinfeld into all of the prime-time NBC shows. When Jerry finds out about SeinfeldVision, he faces off with Jack, who cools him off by promising to promote Seinfeld's new Bee Movie. Of course,Bee Movie is real and (say it with me) spectacular.
The Cosmo-politan Award: That Bill Maher is quite the do-it-yourselfer. When protesters disrupted his live taping of Real Talk With Bill Maher, the comedian didn't just sit back and wait for security; he bolted from the stage and helped escort the rowdies out. Not since J. Peterman's book-signing have we seen such an entertaining bum rush.

I loved the Bill Maher - Get the {F} out of my studio - move! It was refreshing and wonderful to witness him both take action and exude the confidence of knowing he was on a network that would allow him to do so!
