Ooo, thank you, Cindy! I saw this last week and put it up on my Facebook page, but I should have thought to post it here. I love it, too! I can't wait for September.
I have three favorite parts (yes, I've already watched it more than a few times):
1. Cuddy: "Mind if I come in?" House: "Mind if I go out?" 2. The meat cleaver scene. 3. House using Coma Guy's hand as a cupholder.
I loved his closing line. "It's just possible I might be an ass."
'Might be" is a bit of an exaggerated under statement. He is the supreme ass but I can't help but like the guy. I really do not think I would want him as my doctor, though.
Me, too, Cindy! I'd want him if I was dying...but, if not, I don't think all the painful and usually unnecessary tests that he puts people through would be worth it.
Last week there were a lot of cute clips of the cast talking about their Emmy nomination on the entertainment news shows. The extended version of the Access Hollywood one just showed up online today I think and it is by far the cutest of them all. The whole cast seems very smart and clever and they seem to genuinely like each other. It is nice to see that sometimes.
I know!! I want it to be fall so I can watch my favorite shows again! Have you seen the Bones promo? Where she makes a date? Booth and Sweets are sooo funny!
Last season or the season before Wilson and Foreman diagnosed House as having Aspergers autism, a mild type that mostly explains his anitsocial and rude behavior. Having looked up the signs, it is totally House!!
Ha, it is funny that you mention that, Cindy, because the episode that was on tonight was actually the one where the guy DID have Lupus.
It also featured my favorite line of the whole season, from Wilson (excuse me for misquoting): "In some countries organizing a game to steal someone's underwear would be considered wooing. You should move there because here it is just, you know, creepy."
I have to point out that both Philly and Molly picked Cuddy moments out of the promo as their favorites. This is why we are friends.
