It's a Wrap
I wrapped for Season 2 of Prison Break on Wednesday, March 7 — a bittersweet day. It has been a challenging and rewarding season for me. I love making film and television because it is truly a collaborative art. It takes the combined talents of the crew, writers, actors, directors, assistant directors and producers to get a show completed on such a tight schedule. I am proud to be a part of a great team. The crew here in Dallas really stepped up to the plate and hit one out of the park. The quality you see on the screen is largely due to their efforts.
We still haven't heard officially that there is going to be a Season 3 of PB, or where it will be shot. As for Bellick and Wade, one thing for certain is nothing's for certain. The best thing about being an actor is you get a lot of time off. The worst thing about being an actor is you get a lot of time off.
In Season 2, Dallas, Texas, and the weather held the starring role. If I were to pick a better climate, I'd pick [Season 1's] Chicago because at least you know what you're gonna get: cold in the winter, hot in the summer. In Dallas, it can be all that in the same day. The heat was brutal last summer: 122 scorching degrees sometimes. One day in December, it was sleeting and snowing in the morning, then after lunch we were in short sleeves breaking out the sunscreen. So far, the rumors point to Season 3 being shot here in Dallas as well, with splinter units being sent to Florida and Shreveport, Louisiana.
Gird your loins for the last episodes, because everything is gonna go haywire. People are gonna die, maybe even Bellick. Like life, we never know when our number is up. Nothing and nobody is sacred on this show. The writers, again, have proven the prowess of their sick, twisted minds. It's going to be sad to see certain cast members bite the dust. They will be missed from our PB family. I am certain that they will land on their feet running.
As for Bellick, remember who else is heading to Mexico.... Last time we met him, somebody's throat got slit. I hope death comes swiftly.
I just went to L.A. to attend the Paley Festival, an event and honor given by the Museum of Television & Radio. It was great to participate in an event where we could meet some of our fans. It was a wonderful evening, a thrill to experience the reaction that our fans have to the show and to our characters.
For now, I am going to relax and hang out with my family and enjoy some time off. Hopefully I'll still have a job to come back to — maybe I need to start looking for the next gig? I know some of the cast members have movies lined up for the hiatus. This show has really given some of the actors a big leg up in the industry. I am very proud of them.
So long to everyone for now. Hopefully, Bellick will survive to persist in Season 3. If not, anybody have a job for an out-of-work actor?
Thanks to all for reading along and posting your wonderful comments.
Follow your bliss, Wade

Wow,I can't imagine Monday nites without PB!It's hard to wait til the following week after sitting on the edge of my seat for an hour.I really hope thast PB comes back,I can't believe that the storyline could be wrapped up that quickly without ruining the premise of the show.As far as I'm concerned there are so many stories yet to be told from all the characters.I'm already upset over some of the characters deaths' that I am dreading who will be next.My boyfriend gets mad at me at how emotional i get over PB,but when i get into a show I get really into the story and depth of the characters.Well anyway,I hope PB stays around and you take it easy Wade, have a great relaxing mini vacation. Thanks for keeping us up to date with your blog1Hope to hear from ya again soon! Love&Peace...Elaine in PA.

Thanks Wade ! It's been a pleasure reading your blog. I really love the show and I think it definitely has a movie-like feel to it. The cinematography is outstanding at times, some shots are incredible, and the acting is also wonderful. It amazes me every time what you guys can pull off in just a week of shooting...
Anyway, have a good break if you're back for season 3, I'll keep enjoying Bellick and if you don't come back, well, good luck to you :D

Wade!
Please, don't disappear! Whatever happens with Bellick. You should rename this blog from PB to something with a longer life )))
The whole world is excited about the show and it one of the most downloadable shows on peer-to-peer websites.
This show IS a great opportunity for everyone involved, no doubts.
Hope to hear fresh rumours on season three set up from you! Don't forget us

Hi, Wade! Thanks for taking the time this season to post your blog. I have truly enjoyed it. I do think PB will be back and I hope you are, too. Bellick is one of my "favorite characters to hate"! He and Malone actually have a lot in common. If, for some ungodly reason, you or PB do not come back, I would love to see you on "24"! I think you would be a good fit, but those characters don't usually last very long! Love ya, Wade!! Good luck and have a nice break!!

Thanks Wade for blogging in. Good luck on the break. It would be great for Prison Break to come back for Season 3. It would seem unfinished if it didn't. I just don't know what to do now on Monday nights.

Hi Wade! Thanks a million for sharing your experience and impressions with us fans, it's such a thrill! Say hi and thanks to all the cast and crew for me, you're all doing a superb job!!Here in France, PB is a huge success as everywhere else on this planet! I've only seen season 1 and from what I've read about season2 I just can't wait to see it too. Wish you all the best in this show, I so deliciously hated you as Bellick. I'm sure your phone will keep ringing during your break, you deserve it! You shouldn't have that much free time...
Hope to manage a little trip to Dallas when you'll be shooting season 3. I'll just "have a little faith"...
Take care, Ingrid.

Thanks Wade! I love reading your blog, you seem like a really nice person. I hope Bellick doesnt die though, even if he is a not so nice person. I love having characters that you hate to love, or love to hate. I live in Dallas so I know what you mean about the weather! I remember the day it was sleeting in the morning and I was back in shorts by the afternoon. I grew up here though so I'm used to it, and even like the crazy changes in weather. But those 122 degree summer days I can definetly do without. Thanks again for taking time to post! Its nice to know that such cool people work on my favorite show!

Dear Wade,
Thank you so much for taking time to do the blogs. As with the other comments, I hope there is a season 3 andn Bellick stays on. If not, I wish you much luck but you dont need it- you are a wonderful actor (I even recall you in CSI) Paul Stomare is doing great after PB- I just saw him in Preminition with Sandra Bullock. I dont like the idea that more people/characters have to go but I know that is part of the show.
Have a wonderful time off with your family and thank you for all the wonderful memories.
Aileen

Hi Wade! Great job on Prison Break this season; I find myself more excited watching your show than 24 right now, and that's no easy feat. I hope you manage to survive the brawl in Panama and we're all hoping for the best with season 3.
donfay43- Wade actually was in 24 during it's first season as Robert Ellis, but only lasted 2 episodes if I remember correctly. Wade, if you do die in these last episodes, it's has to be better than being strangled in the men's room, eh?
