Ohhhh, Life

Life has been very stressful and crazy lately. Auditioning has been going great, but I've found myself passing on jobs lately because my schedule has been so crammed. It's hard because I'm in a place where I would really love a little creative change, but I guess it's a "high-class" problem — too much work. Then again, a "high-class problem" is still a problem. Oh, well. Hopefully soon everything will be able to work together.

To destress I went to see 300 this past weekend. It was awesome! What a great movie! I really think it'll change the way studios do movies in the future. The entire movie was shot in Toronto in front of a blue screen. All of the effects were done with CG. I also think the $70 million opening weekend proves that you don't have to have "name" stars to be a great, box-office movie. As long as it's a great story, there are talented actors and the whole thing is well executed, this type of movie can be a success. "This will not end quickly. You will not enjoy it. I am not your queen."

This Thursday, March 15, at 10 pm/ET, a new show, October Road, will air right after Grey's Anatomy. This is such a fantastic show. It's about a guy who leaves home after high school and doesn't return for 10 years. During that time away, he became a famous writer after he wrote a best-selling book about all of his friends back home. When he returns to his hometown, he finds that things have changed and he's not exactly welcome there anymore. One big change: he might have a 10-year-old son. He's not sure, though. His high-school sweetheart assures him it's not his. But things just aren't making sense. This show was created by the writer of the movie Beautiful Girls. Make sure to TiVo/DVR and watch this Thursday.

Hope everyone's life is great. I'm about to start a new book, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. I'll let you know how that turns out.

Until then, good night!

Yeah passing up other work and sticking with G4 is smart...not. I mean if you love repetition and hate learning new material then you have the dream job. Let's see there's "Its time to go AROUND THE NET!" and "its time to ATTACK THIS!" along with the all the stuff you care about but we want to know what you think text your vote don't go away during the commercial or I'll come find you really I'm serious blah blah blah... its time to step your game up.

Glad to hear you are looking for more work, hope you are enjoying it. I'd hate tou see you leave G4 but I bet there are bigger and better jobs out there that you would be perfect for.

I saw 300 last weekend as well, wasn't as impressed with it as you seem to be but glad you enjoyed yourself.

Hey Olivia, before you try and constantly sell us your boyfriend's show, you should make sure if it is any good. October Road was not good. In fact, it was pretty lousy.

I loved October Road. I'm hooked. BTW I hate to tell you "A Tree Groes In Brooklyn " is not new. I read it in 1967. It's copywrite date is 1943. One of my most treasured books. Maybe you meant new to you.
