Winding Down... or Up?!
Well, kids. I hate to say it, but I think the party’s over. Say bye-bye to Palm Springs for the time being. Who knows if we will be back? Who knows if the Hardys will continue their exploits in the desert? And if....well, we all know Cliff will continue to be a raging psychopath right?! Thank you Michael Cassidy for presenting us with a fantastic case study of a narcissistic nutball. And thank you to all the other wonderful actors who made this show such a tasty petri dish of kookiness.
And with that, let’s review where we are and what we might surmise is coming our way in the big, big finale on the 4th of July.
When last we left our little troupe in the hot, hot springs, well, all I can say is WHAT IS CLIFF DOING WITH EDDIE’S MOM AND MORE TO THE POINT WHAT IS SHE DOING WITH HIM?!?! Now, don’t take me for a prude, but even this old dog did not see that one coming! Obviously, this is the grenade that wreaks havoc on our little world.
--Eddie’s mom gets further and further into left field!!!
--What exactly DID Liza hear Greta’s dad Skip and Mrs. Nolan (Eddie’s mom) talking/fighting about?
--Bob and Karen just get downright snarky with each other. Will they make up?
--How many more times can Johnny and Greta make out without causing the heat to spike???
--Why oh why would Cliff EVER think Nikki would take him back after catching him with Eddie’s mom??
--Will Johnny find out who killed Eddie or do we have to wait until our next lifetimes??
--Skip just wants to be a good dad to Greta. Yeah right!!!
--Skip and Mrs. Nolan have a BIG blow-up....uh-oh.
--We find out a little secret about Liza, the garage girl. Maybe she’s not such a goodie two-shoes after all.
And may I just say that after you watch the shocker ending, just remember it has been a real pleasure blogging for you and I will look for you all on the next adventure.

Thanks for your weekly blogs! The first couple episodes of this show started off a bit slow for me, but it has now become a full-fledged guilty summer pleasure and I am bummed that it's over (as of tomorrow). That said, I am looking forward to seeing how things play out and hope to see you on a new series soon.

D.W., it has been fantastic reading your weekly blogs. Thank you for sticking with us!
I started watching this show because I'm a fan of yours, but I am absolutely hooked on this show! I hope you will be back for a Season 2!
I'll look forward to seeing you in other shows in the meantime.

I watched maybe 15 minutes of the first episode and this show sucks!!!! It is definately no OC!

Oh my gosh..Hidden Palms is ONE MILLION times better than the OC. I am super sad that it is leaving. I really hope it can come back. I also hope whoever killed Johnny is a person(s) that none of us are expecting. There have been great surprises in this show so far and it is one of my fave shows of all time! Thanks for making me happy the past few weeks, D.W. Good luck!

Hidden Palms was a nice summer series, but nothing more. The OC was a far superior show to this series, but HP had its unique moments. The mystery surrounding the series is interesting, and it's been fun to follow the last few weeks. But would I be disappointed if the series wasn't renewed or a second season? NO!

Hidden Palms and The OC aren't the same show at all, so you're comparing apples to oranges. I really hope this show continues.
I was really pleased with the conclusion of tonight's episode. Here's hoping for Season 2 - if the CW is clever enough to know a good thing!

I truly enjoyed this show and hope that it comes back. I couldn't figure in my head how they could do that, but with it ending the way that it did now I understand. Thanks for taking the time to blog for us. See you on the next great thing (hopefully the return of this show!!).
