Can You Really Trust A Man Named Dick?
We start off tonight's show with the end of the HOH competition from the last show. This was by far the most physical game of this season's show. Just to recap--Dani, Zach, ED, & Eric were trying to fill a large container with tea from a very big teapot with a tiny teacup. Moving the best they can on a slippery surface & with lots of falls (especially Eric) it came down to ED & Zach. It was close but Zach won. Now he had not been that good at any of the previous competitions so I think the other 3 underestimated him. Dick was concerned as he & Zach had an argument about an hour before the game began. Of course as usual the argument was more one sided towards ED. He told Zach he knew that he was trying to throw him & Dani under the bus & it wasn't cool. Zach said there are only 6 people left in the house so it's gonna come down to everyone for themselves. I think ED thought he'd throw Zach off in the competition by coming to him but I think it added to Zach's determination to win. He knew he'd be gone if he didn't win HOH. During the game Jess announced that BB had added 2 cups to the end of each lane & if the players wanted to use the cups to help put tea in the container they could. It would cost them--no hot water for 1 day for each cup used. All 4 players took all the cups. So the HGs would be without hot water for 8 days. Also there was a smaller container that if 1 of the HG chose to fill--they would win a phone call from home. Eric decided he'd go for that as he was so far behind ED & Zach at that point. So he won the phone call. He could keep the phone call for himself or give it to someone. He was torn between Jess & Jameka but gave it to Jess. I think because he has fallen for her & he feels bad that Zach won cause she was scared if Zach did win that she'd be in trouble. He had promised her she'd be ok. Dani tells Dick that she can get on Zach's good side & not to worry.
Next up was the trip to see Zach's HOH room. This had to be the least enthusiastic trip to see an HOH room ever. Dani & Jameka tried to show some enthusiasm--but the other 3 looked bored. After everyone but Dani left the room--she went to work on him. She said
"you've got the house shook up".
Zach--"even your dad?" "He yelled at me"
They talk about how childish ED can be. You can see how she is starting the manipulation. She asks him who he is gonna put up. "Will you put up my dad?"
And warns him to be careful in what he does--who he ticks off. And please don't repeat anything I've said to anyone. I liked Zach in the DR--"Dick
wants to always be in charge & be the leader of the house. But let's be honest--can you really trust a man named Dick?"
Next we have Jess & Eric in the big bedroom. Jess is going over what living in the BB house has taught her. She tells Eric--it has taught me I don't want to have a big family. Even when you think Zach doesn't hear you-he can.
That a 44 year old man, same age as my dad, can act younger than my 3 year old
cousin. And I've learned how to trust people. It's been hard. Then she asks Eric if he cast those votes. Eric tells her yes. Why she asks. Eric wants to tell her the whole truth but can't--so he gives her some good reasons & even lets her know he did the mustard incident also. Go to DR & Jess is telling us "Eric has played more of a game than she 1st thought & what more games could he have left? But she still trusts him. Though did anyone else think the look on her face said otherwise? She wonders why he would tell her all this now? He tells her that because of their relationship in the house & what could happen later out of the house that he felt he needed to come clean. She seemed happy with this.
Next came Jess' phone call. It was her brother, Dean. It was a short call but she found out he was back from Iraq & was ok. That the BOOYAH shirts were being made & sold in Kansas like crazy.
That they were all proud of her & missed her. To keep up the good work. We find out that it was hard for her to come into the BB house cause she wouldn't be there when he'd return. I had to get the tissues out during the phone call. She goes back to the big bedroom & tells Eric & Jameka it was her brother. Hugs all around & she thanks Eric again for the call. Back to the DR & Jess tells us the call couldn't of come at a better time. Cause if her brother, who is 4 years younger than her can make it through war then she can make it through the house. BOOYAH!
America wants Jameka nominated. Eric feels this will be another easy task. But when he goes to the HOH room & pitches it to Zach--he isn't so sure.
Zach isn't easily buying it.
In the meantime, Dani asks her dad to come talk to her. I thought she was done with him? She feels she can get Zach to put up Jess & Eric & that way it wouldn't look like they had anything to do with it. ED is all for that. So Dani in a tiny bikini heads out to the pool to talk to Zach. She tells him he needs to trust her & that he should go after J&E cause if she doesn't win HOH next week that he's in big trouble from J&E cause they hate him. ED comes out & agrees with this. Zach wonders if he can really trust the Donatos.
Next America must decide which HGs annoying habit Eric must mimic. I can just see now--ED's spitting, perhaps?
Nomination ceremony comes around. Eric worries he & Jess will be put up. Dani is confidant she is safe & so is Jameka
to a point. Jess feels for sure she's going up. Ceremony begins--not that many keys. It goes fast. Jess & Jameka
are on the block. Zach feels both are liked alot more than him & if he got to the final 2--he couldn't win against either one of them. Eric looks woefully at Jess. He feels it's his fault she is on the block. Jameka vows to go after
the POV. Dani feels her "friendship" with Zach is paying off.
So POV will be Tuesday & we'll be joined by the lovely Janelle. See you then...

Good morning! First of all, congrats on getting that line for your title before I could  I had that marked too. It was a perfect remark, don't you think?
I hate it, but I think Zach really did put up the two biggest threats for the endgame. Jess and Jameka are both pretty well liked and he, Dani, Dick and Eric...not so much. I would hazard a guess that Jessica will get sent home if she's not taken off the block by POV but there is a long time between now and Thursday, so a lot of time left for people to play. Jameka could go home too.

Great blog bbfan! Between you and Vickie, you both filled me in very nicely!
Not sure who I want to win at this point... I used to be pulling for Eric, since I feel the guy is at such an unfair disadvantage since he can't play his own game. I've been impressed with how well he has been managing to survive while having to do the dumb screwy things "America" makes him do. But now, I'm kind of hoping that Zach has been laying low and will turn on the heat now. If nothing else, this will sure be an exciting week!
Oh.... and you two crack me up how you were both wanting to use that line for your title! Classic! One of the best quotes of the season!
