Shock :: Lost - Episode 409

I was so happy to see Lost on TV again last night! So Jack and crew tried to identify the dead body that washed up on store, and we didn't really find out much about the man other than knowing he was a doctor and had his throat slit, so hopefully in upcoming episodes we will find out more (nice to see Vincent though). On to the juicy part of the episode, Locke and crew... finally Sawyer and Claire find some sense and leave Ben & Locke, I mean look around you, three people were just shot in front of Sawyers eyes in less then ten seconds, things are totally unstable. Unfortunately with Sawyer and Claire leaving, Hurley stayed with Locke and Ben so that they could find Jacob again, hopefully we will see him soon, probably not until the finale though. So unfortunately Alex got shot which was sad even though she put the lives of her father and lots of other peoples in danger. Ben's flash-forwards didn't really tell us anything new, just confirmed what we thought. The one thing I am obsessing over is coming up with ideas of what was down that dark tunnel! I have to just tell you guys how thankful I am that Michael Emerson is on the show, he is so talented and his character is perfect.

All in all it was a fairly good episode of Lost, on par with the seasons episode which for some reason seem a little off to me, maybe its the flash-forwards, or maybe its life without Charlie, I don't know. So, tell me, what do you think of Lost this season? You can tell me by responding to the blogs first poll! Oh I'm so excited to see the results!

Ben's flash-forwards didn't really tell us anything new

Um, are we watching the same show???

The flash-forwards revealed that Ben can teleport and/or time-travel. They revealed that Sayid finally found the woman he'd been searching for pre-island, and that he married her! They revealed that Ben and Widmore have an almost friendly raport about them. They revealed that Penny is next on Ben's hitlist. They revealed that Ben manipulated Sayid into joining him.

And don't forget that the doctor who washed up on shore was the one who checked out Desmond aboard the freighter.

Marcus, we are certainly watching the same show. I personally didn't think that the flash-forwards contributed very much, only confirmed what we thought. First of all, maybe its only me, but after Desmond's time-traveling episode I told myself that it is possible for anyone on the island to time-travel/teleport, but I see your reasoning. Also, I didn't see the real importance of knowing Sayid married her wife and that she would die, I saw it as simply a necessary element of the plot. I have to disagree with you that Ben and Widmore have a friendly raport, it seems to me that the two knew something that the audience has yet to find out. I will say that I overlooked the importance of Penny being next on Ben's hit list. But how did you think Ben would have convinced Sayid to join him?

Your right about the doctor too, I just simply didn't recognize him personally.
