Supernatural Spoilers: Don't miss Kripke's latest TVG interview!
|
I've read this interview a couple of times over and I cannot wait for Season 4. I don't want the time to go too fast because Real Life things need to happen, but my goodness is it October yet ? (If Channel Ten is nice enough to fasttrack Supernatural again for us Aussie fans).

Mary I am very much looking forward to your class. Thank you for the link to this latest interview. I'm not sure just what to make of Kripke's (not so) subtle hints. But, be that as it may, season four sounds like quite a 'page-turner'. I was beginning to wonder if Sam was going to have a stake in the fourth season at all. I don't want to see him pushed into the background too much. Boy, I'm never satisfied, am I?

The relationship between the two brothers has always been the show's strongest thread. If Dean is changing so drastically, and so much time elapses before they get back together, I have a hard time seeing how the show won't suffer.
Additionally, there's been so much talk about Dean getting out of hell, and how he'll be changed, it seems like Sam has almost become a supporting character. I hope they can maintain a balance between the two brothers and their respective problems.
Gotta keep my faith in Kripke, I guess!

I can't wait for S4!! I have a feeling it's going to ROCK THE WORLD!! I wish I could fold time, watch the season, and then fold it back so nothing natural is disrupted, but *I* will have seen everything! Guess I am in the wrong line of work-instead of toiling away at retail, I should look into being a trickster-but, a benign one, of course! Thanks, Mary!

Arafel, I know what you mean. I don't know how we're expected to wait for four freakin months to get to see this. Talk about piling on the angst - for us and for the brothers Winchester. Argh.

Ah, he's got me intrigued. Mission accomplished, I guess.
Mary, can I audit your Supernatural University classes? I just want to sit back and enjoy but not get graded.

I'm not gonna look. I'm not gonna look.
I don't get all the people thinking Sam's story going to take a back seat next year. The show is about the brothers, and remember, we got left with a cliffhanger about Sam, too. From the spoilers I've seen (which reminded me why I don't want to look), the Winchesters are going to have rebuild their relationship, which was basically what they were doing in season 1.

Whimsy - yeah, I know - to me, it sounds like they're setting up some excellent brother conflict and change. I mean, nothing happens to Dean that doesn't affect Sam and vice versa.

As always, Kripke has left me concerned about the Winchester brothers and impatient to actually see what he has up his sleeves!
I'm not too concerned about the relationship between the brothers, Kripke knows that's the heart of the show and that's what fans love. I don't think he would do anything to damage that. Strain it maybe, but just like exercise, a little bit of stress eventually makes it stronger. The brothers may change a lot during their time apart and they may have to rebuild their relationship, but they're still brothers who are willing to do anything for eachother, I don't believe that will change.
Mary I'm looking forward to your next class! I've been trying to talk one of my friends into registering, so hopefully she'll be matriculated by then!

Excellent interview! Thanks for the link, Mary. Man, I can't wait for season 4.
I'm not sure who Ileane Rudolph is, but she's listed as the TV Guide interviewer for this story. Obviously she knows her stuff since she was asking pretty intelligent fan-like questions.
But what was up with that last question: Maybe they'll be exciting enough that this won't be your last season?
Kind of a downer question, no?
Anyway, props to KTMB for some terrific teases, and props to TV Guide for featuring this on the front page.

Thank you, Whimsy!! I don't get that either. Of course he won't for pity's sake. The show is about both brothers and always has been. *sigh* Okay, gotta let it go.
Is it October yet?!?!

I really don't know how I'm going to make it until October.
We are going to get some phenomenal Brother!Angst over the course of S4.
Ummm...that will include BOTH brothers, people. One is not more important than the other. They are both equal halves who make up one HELL of a great WHOLE. It's SamnDean, not SamorDean.

Ileane Rudolph has been with TV Guide magazine for many years, and once in a while she shows up on the web site. When she referred to next season possibly being the last, she may have been citing the troubles at the CW, which according to rumors, could be out of business after next season.
