Wow, what a way to crash and burn!
Talk about waaaaay overplaying your hand, sheesh!
Brian had Dan & Ollie and he could have brought in Jerry "officially" instead of on the sly. Then have Ollie bring in April and that makes 5. Had they been smart, they could have brought in a 6th, like Michelle perhaps.
Instead, his head inflates to the size of LA and he goes around telling people that HE could guarantee their safety and so on.
What a maroon. (Yes, I spelled it that way on purpose. I watched too much Bugs Bunny in my childhood.)
So Libra figures it out and get April upset. April goes after Ollie, and Ollie chose opposite of how most BB HGs choose. I won't use the term, but one word is "Bros."
Libra and Ollie get all the HGs except Brian, Dan and Renny to confront Jerry.
Brian and Jerry had a great idea. Put up Memphis who won the car and eliminate a big physical threat. But the other HGs would have none of that and "forced" Jerry to put up Brian...his former partner. Well, I don't fault Jerry for "breaking his word." Brian was NEVER really with Jerry and was fully intending on just using him. So for Jerry to turn the tables on him and break their deal first, I don't have an issue with that. If Brian would have been playing straight up with Jerry, then it'd be a different matter. He wasn't, so good for Jerry!
But now, I'd worry that Libra is going to go "power mad" since she essentially put together the coup.
Worse, this most likely means that Renny will be around for another week.
Ugh.
As for the Veto Comp, wow, that was pretty cool!
When the HGs first hit the honey, they were all like, What.The.Heck?
It was something else watching them all struggle through the honey. It seemed to take Renny forever to get out of it, and she instantly turned into Big Bird.
It was really odd seeing how the honey turned into stalagmites on the HG's arms. It created a cone of honey about 2' beyond their hands.
Crazy!
I don't have the feeds and I don't know what the mood in the house is, but I'm thinking that Brian is a goner. He has nobody to blame but himself. he could have "ran the house" and instead it looks like he'll be out the door.

I finally had a chance to watch the episode, I've just been swamped with work this week. I still haven't watched Middleman from Monday night, and I haven't seen a replay for NFNS yet.
Mark is the Mole.
If not Mark, then Clay.
I was a little shocked to see Alex go, I thought he'd outlast Paul.
ABC.com has hints and clues to the Mole's identity. There is a website that takes all those clues and observations from the show and tries to figure out who the Mole is. I'm betting by now they've figured it out. I've never gone into the website, I just saw it existed. I don't want to be spoiled for this.
I read that The Mole is in trouble. I'm sure it will finish off it's season since it's the Summer, but like Pirate Master last Summer, it could be kicked off the network to finish online. At any rate, a new Mole series looks unlikely. That sucks. I like this show, and the host has gotten better every week as he figures out what to do and say. I love that he tossed back at the Paul that not only has he (Jon) jumped, but he hit the target. I'm liking him more and more. I sure hope that there is a new Mole next Summer.

I watched both of these shows last night too.
Loved every second of Big Brother last night. Brian totally got what he deserved. What a fool. Did he honestly think that they other houseguests wouldn't talk to each other? What a dummy!! And I do agree w/you about Libra. I really like her so far but I never like it when someone gets too full of themselves because if we have learned anything in 9 other season of Big Brother, it's that things can change in a second in that house and you can never get too comfortable. NEVER.
Craig, Clay and Nicole are my top three candidates for being The Mole. There is no way Mark is the mole. He has tried way too hard to win at challenges. Look at him on that treadmill...he stayed on for whatt? 57 minutes? and he helped w/ the puzzles too! No way is he the mole. But... I wouldn't bet money on it. LOL. I have watched all four seasons of The Mole and I have never sucessfully figured out who it was. I hope they don't pull it before it ends!

Wow, did Brian ever get what he deserved! I totally agree with Xandra. How arrogant was he? Maybe we actually have a group in the house with some brains this season.
(Craig is TOO the Mole!)  I hadn't heard anything about bad ratings for the show. Since people are making that mindless Wipeout such a hit maybe no one's in the mood for a show that makes you think. That's a shame because this is a wonderful show.

Darclyte, you and Vickie crack me up with your bickering about the Mole!
I'm trying to stay out of it, since every time I start suspecting someone, they get axed! I'm the kiss of death for these poor people!
So it looks like the first arrogant igomaniac is going to get booted, just in time for another one's head to start inflating. I see Libra getting too cocky now and thinking SHE is running the show.
This is a fun season of BB so far! And I sure hope they don't pull the Mole! That would be terrible!

Hahaha I love Jon Kelley.. isn't he funny? Especially last week when he was just laughing at Craig's choice's for costumes..
I thought Mark too.. but Clay is making lots of sense, especially when I think back about things. Cause if Mark was the mole.. he could have gotten tired, not answered any questions... etc.
Instead he ran for almost on hour (it went from snail crawl to jog - nothing in between!!)
I read Jon Kelley's blog and the production crew blog.. I don't want this spoiled it's too much fun.. Craig is not the mole!
BB10 was good too.. that was not liquid honey they were running through.. and I have to ask (seeing as I haven't watched since like BB3).. do all the hot chicks wear HUGE heels like that? What would be the point? I would be barefoot or in flipflops!
Brain had it handed to him.. he has to do some smart talking to get out of this one... i think he might too...

My Mole choices have been the kiss of death for at least half the contestants, too, Shel!
For now I'm going with Clay...so I'm sure he will be gone next week.  My second choice is Craig.

I've been saying for the past 3 weeks that MARK IS THE MOLE. So, I agree with you. Pirate Master was a good show. It just needed some tweaking. Please ABC, bring THE MOLE back next summer. It's great.
And again, I'm agreeing with you. Brian IS a maroon!!!! Ha, ha, too funny. I like Bugs Bunny, too.
